#description Created with Macondo
>skaplan31: HIOPQUU 8E QUIP +30 30
#note Rd 1 Philly virtual 6-6-2021. No excuse for missing QUIPU.
>eddybear: AKMNSSV I5 NAVS +27 27
#note I5 KVAS looks better to make parallels harder to accomplish.
>skaplan31: AEHOORU J4 OOH +29 59
#note This time, I did see the plays I needed to see here- this, E8 QUARE, and D5 ROUE. This was chosen over the other candidate plays to take advantage of the J6 hotspot and save Q plays and Column D plays for next turn which won't always get blocked.
>eddybear: AKMRSVY K5 MARVY +42 69
#note Looks like the clear best move.
>skaplan31: AEELRUW E8 .UARE +28 87
#note Looks fine along with E8 QUALE, E7 EQUAL, and 8K VALUE.
>eddybear: GIKOSUY D12 YOU +22 91
#note I like the aggression here, but I think D12 YUK is a nice upgrade over this.
>skaplan31: BELNNUW D7 WEN +27 114
#note I did see C10 BLEW, but the NNU leave just wasn't appealing to me. What is more appealing to me is C10 NEWB though. #findingmeh
>eddybear: ?AGIKOS 15D SOAKInG +94 185
#note At least I wouldn't have stopped this from coming down either way, so I feel a little better about my minor error last turn.
>skaplan31: ABEILNU 11E .UINABLE +70 184
#note Good. Don't be missing plays man.
>eddybear: AADEMOO 14F MOA +29 214
#note Looks fine to me.
>skaplan31: AEIITTT 8K .ITTA +27 211
#note There we go, some plays are just not hard to see.
>eddybear: ABDEOOT 12K ADOBE +26 240
#note Looks reasonable along with 12K ADOBO or 12I BOOT, I might prefer 12I BOOT here sometimes because of 3 more Ts remaining.
>skaplan31: EILNRRT F10 R.T +15 226
#note Definitely the right idea again, and I did also consider F10 RUN, but decided against that because of the open Ts in VITTA. EILNR is also a perfectly compatible leave with the VITTA floaters in general. I did not see 6H L(AHA)R, but I did prefer to keep the VITTA floaters open, so I would have passed that up.
>eddybear: EEEEGOT L2 OGEE +16 256
#note Good thing the Ys are on the board, otherwise this move would have been pretty bold. Looks fine to me.
>skaplan31: ?EILLNR C1 RaLLINE +70 296
#note This is the only bingo I found with this rack, and it is the only 7. While I did not see O5 cLE(A)NLI(E)R, this is better anyway.
>eddybear: DEEENTX 13M XED +47 303
>skaplan31: CFILOPZ 1A CO.F +39 335
#note 2B C(a)PIZ for 74. I'm just not seeing some things this game. Out of all plays I did see- this, 10L FIZ, 4A ZILL, and 1A ZORIL, I did choose this in the hopes of drawing 1 of the 3 remaining Ts for N10 ZI(BE)T.
>eddybear: EEGIINT N8 .IE +5 308
#note And he ended up blocking N10 ZI(BE)T with this cheapo!
>skaplan31: ILPRTTZ 2J PL.TZ +44 379
#note Another findable play that I did see this time.
>eddybear: AEGINNT B5 GENTIAN +75 383
#note Mhm
>skaplan31: CDHIRST 4C .ICHT +20 399
#note I wasn't crazy about N12 BED because he can easily outrun me especially if I don't draw a vowel- plays like 15L WISE were possible and then I have barely anything after that. I definitely counted on him not having the S after GENTIAN to make this work as I had a lack of vowels myself. E7 SQUARED would have been 7 more than my play, but that doesn't adequately address my lack of vowels. E7 SQUARED still loses without a vowel (call it a DF draw for example) as he has 13F WRIES for 32 and then 14B or F6 JEU to easily get me. In this case, I drew FR out of the bag. So similar scenario.
>eddybear: DEEIJSW H1 WEDS +39 422
#note Ed could have won by a few more with H1 JEES here- with his DIW leave he does have an out play of F3 WHID which I can't address with my lack of vowels.
>skaplan31: DFRRS G7 R.F +11 410
#note While I did see E7 SQUARED again, I didn't like it as I don't go out after that. There's still no outrunning F6 JEU.
>eddybear: EIJ 2F JE. +26 448
>skaplan31: DRS O11 R..DS +21 431
#note Best out play, but some moves were just not good enough to really deserve to win this game. Nice game Ed!
>skaplan31: (I) +2 433
