#note Rd 4 Philly virtual 5-23-2021. I'm 2nd.
>hellacia: EEIIINS -EIIIN +0 0
#note I like keeping EINS here which I think is more potent than just ES.
>skaplan31: AEIKQUX 8D QUAKE +56 56
#note Pretty much any exchange would have prompted me to play this easily best move.
>hellacia: DEHOSTT I2 SHOTTED +86 86
#note I guess that nice early advantage didn't last too long.
>skaplan31: BEEILRX 4H B.XER +34 90
#note Couple options seemed reasonable here- this, 4H BOXIER, and H1 XI. After Robin is random, I think this is fine for the most openness.
>hellacia: EGHINRW 2B WHINGER. +88 174
#note Who would have known Robin would have had a no-go if I did XI on my previous turn which would have been slightly suboptimal?
>skaplan31: AEILOPR 6G PE.IOLAR +64 154
#note This and the anagram EPILATOR were the only bingoes I found here (and the only ones that exist). EPILATOR would have been my move if I was ahead, but it might be time to make the more open move while also keeping Column E 2x2s alive. The only issue was that PETIOLARS* isn't good, only EPILATORS and SAPROLITE. I am honestly not sure whey EPILATOR sims slightly better than PETIOLAR does, although it might have someting to do with leaving Column K 2x2s open, which I can expect to get blocked more often than Column E 2x2s.
>hellacia: ?ADGINO L4 .e.OADING +72 246
#note Robin did have a 2x2 E4 rIGA(U)DON though. It is still impressive to see a disconnected 9 which actually is the 2nd highest scoring bingo.
>skaplan31: CELOOUW 1A WOOL +37 191
#note Now I pretty much have to score. Best play.
>hellacia: ABEFIRU E7 B.RFI +20 266
#note D7 A(Q)UIFER looks like a really nice option for 38.
>skaplan31: CEEENTU 5K C.TE +24 215
>hellacia: ACEEMNU K8 NAME +25 291
>skaplan31: EEINNNU F10 ENNUI +18 233
#note Nothing else is even close to this, just gotta hope to get an S now.
>hellacia: ACEIIOU 5D CIAO +16 307
>skaplan31: EEGLNVV 8K ..VEL +24 257
#note Definitely not doing D11 VENGE when I need to give myself another lane and not obstruct the ENNUIS hook to have any chance of getting myself back in this game. This is fine.
>hellacia: AEEIMUY 1F AYE +32 339
#note Seeing that nothing keeps well for her and she can't really do much about the ENNUIS hook besides D11 AIYEE, I do like 3B EMEU better for her.
>skaplan31: EGNRSTV 13E G.V +11 268
#note Yes, this move does partially block Column H, but that's not a huge concern when you have to start with an E. This is fine along with 3A VEST for 35.
>hellacia: DEFIMUU N1 FUMI.. +22 361
#note Best for her.
>skaplan31: ENOPRST 15D POSTERN +92 360
#note I actually thought this would get blocked after my fish. Got lucky.
>hellacia: ADESUYZ 1L DE.Y +39 400
#note I do like this play to have emergency scoring options with the Z on future turns.
>skaplan31: ADIIJLS C1 ..IA +14 374
#note It's unfortunate that there's no way to create a 2nd bingo lane in a totally different quadrant without keeping the J. Without doing this, Robin can just make a play at 14K or at M12 to lock it up. While I thought thru the possibilities with DIJLS??, I thought I was missing something, but nothing exists with that possibility even if I draw the blank. It didn't hurt to get another lane going, but it wasn't gonna look too good.
>hellacia: ARSTTUZ - +0 400
#note I do understand why she passed here- she was probably nervous about me having some sort of Row 14, Column M, Column N, or Column B bingo that I could bingo out with if she were to draw the J. In this case, if the J is in the bag, I only have AmIDOLS, hALOIDS, DIALOgS, and LADInOS which play at B4. I am not sure, however, if she also realized that B4 ADJOInS is the only playable bingo that does involve the J if the J is not in the bag. As it turns out, there were no playable bingoes from the E or L in NAVEL.
>skaplan31: ?ADIJLS 11D J.. +10 384
#note Now this pretty much has to be my play if I want to draw any bingoes in 2 spots.
>hellacia: ARSTTUZ 3B T.T +12 412
#note Figured this would get blocked.
>skaplan31: ?ADILOS 12A LIDO +30 414
#note No wins exist so time to make this one a close loss.
>hellacia: ARSUZ B11 S.ZAR +28 440
#note I did see 10K MIRZA for her which would have been her only win after she understandably blocked my Column B bingoes. This is shocking for me.
>skaplan31: ?AS G8 .AtS +24 438
#note This is the best play that I found, and it does guarantee me a tie. If I do C12 DAS for 32, that loses by 2 because she does have 3M UM for 8 making the final score 448-446 her. KAyS and KAeS also work in this spot for the same score.
