>skaplan31: FHIMSUY 8G FUMY +24 24
#note Rd 2 Philly virtual 5-13-2021. Looks fine.
>DaBag: AEEEIUW -AEEIUW +0 0
#note 9I EAU is 14 but this is also fine to do.
>skaplan31: BHINNST 7F SINH +31 55
#note While I do burn my S, no other option scores even close to this. I could also do H7 NUB to set up 2 S hooks as well, but that's just too many points to give up. I absolutely love the defense of this move especially after his exchange, when it is perfectly capable of doing his work for him and having a nice lead.
>DaBag: AEEIIKT 6D TEAK +24 24
>skaplan31: BEEINTV E3 VIB. +18 73
#note I did also consider 5C VENT setting up my E, but there's too many Es left. This is fine to force his hand more while still having a nearly 50 point lead and keeping a little better.
>DaBag: DEIIOOY -DIIOOY +0 24
#note Yea, it's looking kinda bleak for him. 3D OVOID, 6I OI, or 6I OY are his best moves that play thru this rack, but I do think it's worth exchanging again.
>skaplan31: DEEELNT D6 .ELNETED +70 143
#note Now I'll open up for him while I go up by 2 bingoes. I also saw UNDELETE and RELENTED with this rack.
>DaBag: ADEEHNR 13A HAR.ENED +78 102
#note The anagram ADHEREND is 2 more but I like this move at this score. Not sure if he knew or saw ADHEREND.
>skaplan31: BEINOPT A12 P.OT +36 179
#note Looks good.
>DaBag: JLLNRTX 4D J.LL +22 124
#note Hard to say which is really better here, this or JINX in the same spot. I do understand that JINX is 14 more, but this puts him in a nice position to open the top up, and he does save his X for Column B plays.
>skaplan31: ABEINOY 8A BIA.Y +30 209
#note I'm not closing this board down anytime soon, so might as well score instead of block. I did this over BOYLA in the same spot to keep my O for 6I plays as a backup option. I did not know H10 BENDAY for 39.
>DaBag: AMNRTWX 14A .X +36 160
#note I really like E10 WAXER here for 48. He can get back in this game nicely because the only good way I have of blocking big Row 15 bingoes with WAXERS is by responding with a play ending at H15 which would give him back good bingo lanes to use.
>skaplan31: EELNOOZ 6I OZONE +42 251
#note Sucks that B10 ZOEAE got blocked, but this is by far the best move here.
>DaBag: AAMNRTW 5K MAWN +33 193
#note M3 WATERMAN does play for 80.
>skaplan31: AAEILRR 11B AR.ERIAL +66 317
#note Glad to see this one and continue applying pressure.
>DaBag: ??APRTV L2 PAV.. +20 213
#note His only bingo is oVeRAPT which plays at 12I for 73 and 14H for 72.
>skaplan31: ADEEGOU 7K GED +33 350
#note 7K GEE is a little better equitywise despite GED taking 1 less hook with this pool than GEE. I definitely needed to score because there are no great leaves here.
>DaBag: ??IRTTW 14G ReTWIsT +70 283
#note Lol
>skaplan31: AEFGORU 15C FORAGE +46 396
#note 2nd highest scoring play behind 15D FORGE for 52, but I do like how this goes thru another tile while ahead.
>DaBag: CGIOOTU 2J CO.OUT +32 315
#note Best by far.
>skaplan31: DIIOQSU N10 QUIDS +88 484
#note I mean how could I not take full advantage of that?
>DaBag: CGIINRU O8 GRIN +28 343
>skaplan31: AEEIOOS 9D .OES +22 506
#note 9J EASIER would have guaranteed me an out play in 2 spots. Endgame has not been good for the 2nd straight time.
>DaBag: CISU H2 CIS +19 362
>skaplan31: AEIO 4L .OE +16 522
#note 13L AIDE is 1 point better.
>DaBag: U O1 U. +6 368
#note The good: I forced Mitchell's hand early on forcing him into moves that I know he isn't in favor of. VIBE made it particularly difficult for him to score anything meaningful while opening the board up if he didn't have the STEAK hook. I also did manage to find ARTERIAL and take advantage of Mitchell's mistake of ReTWIsT when ouTWRIT would have done it there.
