>skaplan31: AAABDNV 8D VANDA +26 26
#note Rd 3 Philly virtual 5-2-2021. Easily best.
>hellacia: ABCEEES 7E BEE +16 16
#note 9E placement sims better because it gives back fewer lucrative reparallels.
>skaplan31: ABILLPS 6D LAP +27 53
#note Unfortunately her best move blocked PINBALLS which I saw. The theme was bowling so this would have been a great one to play! LAP and LAB sim about equally, I figured this would lead to more openness than LAB would. That would not have been accomplished as well by doing 6F BLIP.
>hellacia: ACENRSZ E5 C...NAS +44 60
#note Excellent play Robin!
>skaplan31: BCGIJLS F10 BIG +24 77
#note While I don't score as much now as opposed to C3 JIGS or C3 JIBS, this does limit what she can do more often as there's literally 1 hotspot on this board before I make this play. The L is a great tile to keep for the VANDAL hook, and I can just keep setting up hooks that I have. I do understand why Quackle favors JIBS or JIGS to dump an extra consonant, but Robin will be handicapped much more often after BIG vs JIGS or JIBS.
>hellacia: EGMORYZ H6 GR.Y +14 74
>skaplan31: CEJLOSY I5 JOYS +45 122
#note Looks about even with JOY for 34. In a close game, let's grab the points.
>hellacia: ?EEIMOZ 5I .EEZ +40 114
#note Looks fine to me.
>skaplan31: CEEILRX J3 IL.X +54 176
#note Mhm
>hellacia: ?GIIMOU L3 GI.MO +34 148
#note Despite the IU combo, it's definitely worth it here.
>skaplan31: CEEMQRT 3I Q. +21 197
#note Ack, M4 TEEM is a sick parallel for 43! I can always dump the Q another turn. #visionlarge
>hellacia: ?DHIIOU 12F .UID +7 155
>skaplan31: CEELMRT 11H MERC +23 220
#note M4 TEEM again!
>hellacia: ?EHINOW M6 OWN +23 178
#note She also missed the JEEZE hook this game. M1 WHINE in this case.
>skaplan31: ?EEEILT N1 sTEELIE +79 299
#note At least I hit the highest scoring play this time despite the simplicity.
>hellacia: ?EEHIIU O1 HI +29 207
#note I like L11 HIE here. Nice and aggro.
>skaplan31: ADIOOST O7 DOIT +23 322
#note Or DOAT in this spot. Looks fine.
>hellacia: ?DEEINU H11 ..NED +24 231
>skaplan31: AELOOST 5E .OO +11 333
#note Best play.
>hellacia: ?AEITUW 7K W.... +12 243
>skaplan31: AAELSST 14H .LASTASE +70 403
#note Definitely making the safer placement and not giving her anything new to work with while ahead. This is the only bingo as ATLASES doesn't play.
>hellacia: ?AEIOTU -U +0 243
>skaplan31: AINOPRT 13J PIANO +28 431
#note I wonder what her exchange 1 was all about...
>hellacia: ?AEIOTV 15A VIOlATE. +83 326
#note Not bad, but I did see ObVIATE(D) for her midgame for 86.
>skaplan31: EFKRRRT C3 KERF +31 462
#note Good thing I'm up by enough to not have to worry about Rs too much.
>hellacia: AFHNRTU D2 FAH +34 360
#note This play is best for her because 12L FAH would make HOS*.
>skaplan31: RRTUU N10 UT +8 470
#note Looked for a while and this is actually the most I can score.
>hellacia: NRTU C12 UNT. +8 368
>skaplan31: RRU 2D .UR +8 478
#note I did manage to get the most points out of this endgame despite the garbage final rack. Even 8 + 8 is saying something.
>hellacia: R L12 R.. +6 374
#note O14 ER or K11 CRIS both work as well.

Was glad to have gotten an X spot after JOYS while drawing the X and hit that spot nicely, but on the other hand, we both kept missing JEEZE parallels. 2-1 now.
