>squush: ADEOPRW 8D WARPED +32 32
#note against Hasty normally I might do something like POW, but in blindfold scrab I like keeping the board more open to reduce parallels and increase more obvious hotspots. I think warped is probably what I'd play against most people as well

>HastyBot: ?ABEINU I1 UNBIAsE. +64 95
>squush: AFIRSTV 1F FAV.S +33 103
#note missed FA(U)VIST, which is better. I'm not gonna play F(A)VA ever

>squush: EGIORTZ -- -62 103
#note ack! I kinda wrote off karoo in my mind as far enough away without giving it any thought. I also didn't think of ADZ - RITZ is the play for sure.

>squush: EGIORTZ 4C GOT +29 132
#note Ididn't see ERGOT or consider GO, but I think this is better. TOG is a slightly better version to discourage 5E plays. An added reason to play TOG is that 5E plays make the board harder to visualize, cuase it will be tighter, whereas if I play TOG and he plays anywhere else on the board, it's a lot more likely that will give me back a clearer spot to play

#note luckily the GOT error wasn't punished. I wasn't 100% sure of this, it's actually only good in NWL, not CSW. I think that's where my doubt was coming from
>HastyBot: AIIOTTV 13A .ITI +26 238
>squush: EGIMSTT 12D MIG +20 212
#note missed 5E SIGMATE, which i had no chance of finding blindfolded. hopefully one day

#note quite a few interesting options here. QIS/ZITIS, QI E11, QAT N1, QAT 5H are all worth considering. The N1 qat is a setup like 5H, but it also blocks the big 1L/O1 scoring spot (novenae is good), so it looks better. I also guarantee O1 IS if it doesn't get blocked, and could easily bingo. the 5H QAT setup has a bit more upside, but it's more impotant to block the scoring spot when i'm down. I didn't consider much besides QI and QAT, and really liked the block/setup/fish trifecta

#note K5 for sure! I had grouped BEGUN into the 'untouchable top left' that I decided to not spend time thinking about. For the purpose of winning in 10 minutes, I felt it was more important to put all my mental energy into the more active areas of the board, the top right and bottom left, rather than spend a minute parsing the top left jungle. that said, K5 looks slightly better, scoring a copule more. it gives back an N and S lane, which are useful to hasty, but blocks some double doubles.

#note super clutch draw
>HastyBot: ADEITTU 1N .I +33 337
>squush: ?ILLLSU J10 SULL. +10 401
#note really shoulda checked the bag and the score here. I think I just forgot, while trying to go fast (also coulda checked the time left haha). If hasty had bingoed out, I woulda lost. thankfully the blank draw left clunky tiles in the pool, so it didn't really matter wha tI played.
