#player2 Jeremy_Frank Jeremy Frank
>Samuel_Kaplan: HNOOUUV -HNOOUUV +0 0
#note Rd 4 of NYC Virtual Club 2-18-2021. By winning this game, I have a shot at Player of the Night. Literally nothing to lose by getting rid of everything.
>Jeremy_Frank: ?AEEFOR 8H OF +10 10
>Samuel_Kaplan: EERSTYZ J6 YET +20 20
#note Jeremy's last play was a fish. If this was a KOH the last round and I needed to protect my 1st place lead, I would have done 7H YEZ. But that's wasn't the case; I was in 2nd being 2-1 and a handful of spread points behind first. And NYC Virtual club didn't do KOH, so I decided to create the kind of board I typically want, which is something that has potential to open up because I have the S hook, and I can always counter nicely with my Z should Jeremy bingo.
>Jeremy_Frank: ?AEEIRS G4 fREESIA +65 75
#note I'm surprised he missed 9F rERAISE here.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ACEKRSZ F10 ZEK +67 87
#note Mhm. I don't get to hit him this hard after 9F rERAISE.
>Jeremy_Frank: ABELMOU H1 BLUE +23 98
#note 12D OAKUM or 12C LEUKOMA are probably better.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AACGLRS H10 SACRAL +45 132
#note Best play.
>Jeremy_Frank: AAIMOOX E11 MOA +24 122
#note K5 MOXA does play for 48.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AAGIPTU F5 APT +25 157
#note Did not know 5C UPGIRT. My play is meh, I think 14B AGITA is better.
>Jeremy_Frank: AIIOOOX -IOOO +0 122
#note I think the X is perfectly fine to keep here. I would have exchanged down to AX or just X to try to go for the blank.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADGINNU 2F UN.ADING +66 223
#note Only bingo which also plays at 15F for 5 less.
>Jeremy_Frank: ADGIQVX 1K QI +26 148
>Samuel_Kaplan: DDJLMNU 5E L..D +18 241
#note 5C JUMAR is definitely better than this even though there are no good leaves.
>Jeremy_Frank: ADGOTVX K5 VOX +40 188
#note Looks fine even though he's not in great shape.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DJMNOTU 14B JUNTO +34 275
#note Highest scoring play and provides excellent defense on the bottom of the board.
>Jeremy_Frank: ADGNORT 15A DONA +32 220
#note 1A DRAGON gives him more lines to work with even though this scores the same. And he keeps only a T as opposed to GRT which isn't that good on this board.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?ABDIMT 13C BA. +23 298
#note I did see M2 GAMBIT but this doesn't telegraph a blank. And it's more defensive because it blocks lucrative Column D plays.
>Jeremy_Frank: EGINRTY 12H .RINGY +24 244
#note This is not good. RETRYING does play at 13H for 76.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?DEIMPT M8 MIsT.PED +82 380
#note While I did not see 15F Mu(L)TIPED, this is better anyway. I still shouldn't have accepted the phony.
>Jeremy_Frank: EEISTTW 8M .EW +24 268
>Samuel_Kaplan: ENORSVW 14J WOV.N +38 418
#note Mhm
>Jeremy_Frank: EEHISTT O12 HEST +45 313
#note O5 THEWIEST does play for 65.
>Samuel_Kaplan: CEIORSU 6D CO.. +10 428
#note This S hook that I set up is going to be very hard for him to block. I already have the win locked up, time to go for spread now. I did see 4A CURIE but that's completely unnecessary.
>Jeremy_Frank: EHIIORT N10 HI +27 340
#note 15F HO(L)IER is a sick fit. This is fine too.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EFIIRSU 3M IF +16 444
>Jeremy_Frank: EEGIORT D6 .ORGI +9 349
#note Dang it!
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEILRSU O1 RESILE +27 471
#note Bingoing out wasn't meant to be so just take the most I can get.
>Jeremy_Frank: AEERT 8A TEA. +12 361
#note TERRA or TARRE are both 15 each in this spot.
>Samuel_Kaplan: U 6J ..U +6 477
#note L12 GUV for 5 more.

Couple mistakes this game including accepting CRINGY*, but I won by enough to win Player of the Night.
>Samuel_Kaplan: (ER) +4 481
