#description Created with Macondo
>skaplan31: AAEEIOO - +0 0
#note Rd 3 Philly virtual 2-14-2021. I'm 2nd.
>MsSpeller: ADEINOT 8H ADO +8 8
#note This, 8C IODATE, or keeping ADEINT are all fine. I would exchange the O here.
>skaplan31: AAEEIOO -AAEIOO +0 0
#note I know she's close to something, but that doesn't change the fact that keeping only an E is good enough for me.
>MsSpeller: AEINSTT 7F SATINET +67 75
#note I'm surprised she missed H8 ASTATINE for 77 here. That would have changed the board entirely.
>skaplan31: ?CEOPRS K5 PR.SCOrE +99 99
#note M7 SCOoPER and other Column M bingoes were obvious, but this one is the only 2x2. If Jill had done ASTATINE on her previous turn, I would have done K5 PROSECt instead.
>MsSpeller: EKNPRTU L10 PERK +29 104
#note She loves tight boards too...L12 TURK is OK at this score after I just drew a random rack. 12H UNKEPT is also reasonable if she doesn't want to open up a 3x3.
>skaplan31: EFILOUV L1 VOILE +28 127
#note I considered this and J10 FE. This is more my style where if Jill takes the triple, I can have good scoring plays with my F next turn at J10. While M11 VEIL is 6 more immediately, I do like my play better as this does allow for a better 2 move score.
>MsSpeller: DILNNTU 1L .ULN +21 125
#note Looks fine to me.
>skaplan31: AFGNTUY J10 FAY +41 168
#note I knew that if I drew any vowel besides a U, my plan would work out a lot of the time, and it sure did. Easily best.
>MsSpeller: DIINTWX M3 DINT +23 148
>skaplan31: GHNTUUV F3 VUGH. +20 188
#note Not much to think about here.
>MsSpeller: EEFIMWX 9E WIFE +17 165
#note I11 FEW would have been nice.
>skaplan31: ABENOTU O1 .ANOTUBE +83 271
#note Yep
>MsSpeller: DEEIMOX 8A OXIDE +50 215
#note Jill admitted to me after the game she should have done OXIME in this spot. She had the right idea, but it wouldn't have stopped me from bingoing again.
>skaplan31: AACELRT C6 TA.LRACE +74 345
#note Got lucky again.
>MsSpeller: EJMORUY 12A JU.O +42 257
#note This is a nice play, the Y is huge for her to keep.
>skaplan31: AHIIIOS A12 .IAO +33 378
#note But I can score with bad racks too.
>MsSpeller: EMMNRSY B14 MM +24 281
#note Q might like MY in this spot, but I'd still do this because the Y has lots of value on this board with PERKY. She's still reasonably close to a bingo.
>skaplan31: ?DHIISZ 5D ZI. +26 404
#note Ack! Missed A3 ScHIZ(O)ID for 70. That's not easy to see with a blank. My play actually does not sim that far behind the bingo, presumably because of the open O and the PERKS hook still open. I made my move to distract Jill with a nice scoring opportunity on Column D which will allow me to get my bingo down very often next turn.
>MsSpeller: EGLNRSY 14L YER +26 307
#note Maybe 11C AGLY is better for her if she wants to try to get back in the game with Row 14 bingoes. She also keeps Column N open.
>skaplan31: ?DEHIQS 4E Q.ID +27 431
#note Unfortunately I can't actually bingo that often if I draw the Q!
>MsSpeller: AGGILNS H1 GLA. +18 325
>skaplan31: ?EEEHST N8 TEEtHE.S +64 495
#note Oh man D2 HEEZE is sweet and is much better than this!! #visionlarge
>MsSpeller: BGINNOS I1 IONS +28 353
>skaplan31: ARRW A5 ARR.W +8 503
#note While I did find more plays this game than in Rds 1 and 2, missing D2 HEEZE did put a stain on an otherwise solidly played game.
>skaplan31: (BGN) +12 515
