Game 2
Tough matchup here with one of our very strongest players. Here I chicken out of W(A)PPED, which sets up S(WAPPED) plays. Sim says WAPPED is best.

#note Sim prefers pretty much anything that dumps the W. I confess it did feel slightly dirty to start the game by holding the W twice. This play was aimed at keeping the upper left accessible, since opp has a history of making that difficult in this situation. Sim's favorite play is I6 WA(Y), which I guess is a more aggressive way of doing that.

#note Sims best.
>puffling: DEEHIRT 6A DIETHER +68 166
>kacattac: EIJLNST A1 JILTE. +45 113
#note It's between this and (D)JIN. They sim too close to call.

#note K4 BOV(I)D is the obvious/standard play here, and I had it lined up before double-clutching. Three reasons for this: (1) based on personal history I'd say that opp is almost certain to take out this E floater next turn anyway, hence there's not actually any value in leaving it alone; (2) BOVID doesn't create any good lanes and takes several away, including potential B(RAN) plays in row five; (3) though I really need a bingo, setting up my S for a hefty score next turn def isn't the worst thing. DOVEN sims 3 worse than BOVID, but I think it's defensible for these reasons.

>kacattac: ABEIOOS 8A BASE. +34 167
#note I see B(R)OOS but am not thinking straight at this point. Why did woogles take away the Ragequit button?
>puffling: ?EFKLOU L4 FLO.K +38 311
>kacattac: AAGINOO 1D O.GANA +24 191
#note O(R)IGAN is better, but since I'm studying pure sixes right now I only saw OARING and ONAGRI. I'm sure those pure sixes will come in handy someday...
>puffling: ?EEEIUU E10 E.EU +15 326

#note 9L YOGI/(FLOCK)Y is a superfun gamble which I saw and would have been down to try if personal history with opp had not shown this to be a really bad idea many times previous. Instead, I make like a wounded animal and curl up in a ball inside of a log.
>puffling: ?EEIMUU -EIUU +0 326
>kacattac: AEGIIIY 2G YAGI +20 242
#note Sims best. After her exchange I really regret not taking the gamble.
