>DaBag: KMNSUUY - +0 0
#note Rd 1 of Philly virtual 2-4-2021. I'm first.
>skaplan31: EHNRRST 8G HERN +14 14
#note Gotta be aggro with my S in hand.
>DaBag: KMNSUUY K5 YUKS +30 30
#note This is a good play, but KUMYS does also play at K4 for 36.
>skaplan31: BPRSTVX 6J B.RP +14 28
#note H7 VERB for 9 would have allowed the X spot to be open, although that's not a move I want to make against Mitchell. Against most other players, I might have done that as the opponent would have had to deal with the X hotspot allowing me the VERBS hook. #strategylarge
>DaBag: AIIMNTU 9E AIM +18 48
#note MINUTIA does play at 9A or 7A for 67 here.
>skaplan31: EERSTVX H2 VERTEX.S +75 103
#note If Mitchell had found MINUTIA on his previous play, I don't get to play my bingo as MINUTIAS* isn't good, only MINUTIAE.
>DaBag: EHINOTU 6F HU. +14 62
>skaplan31: CEIIINP L4 PE.I +23 126
#note L1 PINIER is a little better. Right idea using this spot.
>DaBag: EEFINOT 8A FEINT +29 91
#note At this point he does have to open, I'm fine with this play.
>skaplan31: CDIILNT 3C INCIT.D +26 152
#note This is best.
>DaBag: EGIJNOU D1 JI.GO +42 133
#note Best for him too.
>skaplan31: AEGLLOS 2F GA.EL +27 179
#note I did see QIVIUT at 2F too as I played INCITED. Might as well score there too now. This is best again.
>DaBag: ADEINOU 10D OUD +18 151
#note Looks fine to me.
>skaplan31: ALOOSTU C10 LOUT +13 192
#note Playing my usual aggressive style that I need to use against him.
>DaBag: AEFINTZ 12B F.TZ +32 183
>skaplan31: AEORSSV N2 ARVOS +31 223
#note Unfortunately VOTARESS got blocked. This, ROVES, or OAVES are fine in this spot.
>DaBag: AEEINOQ 7C QI +44 227
#note Ugh
>skaplan31: AEENOSW O1 OWE +25 248
#note Yep
>DaBag: ACEEGNO M1 ACE +24 251
#note Looks fine to me. I understand why Quackle prefers ECO in the same spot because of the leave, but there are still 5 As unseen to him. I'd make this play with this pool.
>skaplan31: ABDENOS J8 .OSEBAND +65 313
#note Only bingo.
>DaBag: ADEEGNO 12J .ANGED +24 275
#note 1A GADJO* or GADJE* with the old lexicon, but I would have done 15G GOADED here. He didn't have a blank after this play, otherwise he would have bingoed because this pool is very nice.
>skaplan31: ?AALMNT M9 MAN.A +22 335
#note Looked for a while here, no bingoes play. 11G MAt(E)RNAL and TAL(E)sMAN both got blocked. Seeing I had one of the blanks, and now the pool is meh at best from my perspective, I might as well scare Mitchell a bit and allow him to take one of the open triples. He could have drawn the W and/or Y after he just played off 5 tiles, and those can be bingo killers themselves at times. I just know he's gonna try to be as defensive as he can possibly be, which would require him to empty the bag in order to do that, in this case, taking out both 3x3s. That would allow me the best odds to bingo out and win the game. #strategyspoton
>DaBag: ELOORWY O12 .EWY +33 308
#note In this case, 15J DOWERY is a better way of doing this for 51. But, him doing that would not have stopped me from bingoing out.
>skaplan31: ?AEILRT 15C RETAILe. +77 412
#note Many less bingoes would have played after 15J DOWERY, but RELATI(N)g and the anagrams are easy to find so it wouldn't have mattered much in the end.
