>parteegirl: AFGILMN H4 FLAMING +84 84
#note Rd 6 Philly virtual 1-10-2021. This is crucial.
>skaplan31: ?ACHIKN 5D HACK.INg +114 114
#note Yep! Several cool ones play too, namely 6C ICeKH(A)NA for 78 and 6G K(A)tCHINA or K(A)CHINAs for 74 each.
>parteegirl: ADEQRTV 4C QAT +36 120
>skaplan31: AEEIMWW 6C WAW +21 135
#note This is not bad, but 10F WIGWAM for 25 is definitely better. 2 Ws are annoying. #findinglarge
>parteegirl: DERSTVV 10F VE. +15 135
#note Gotta love it when we both have our own problems with clunky letters! I think -VV or -DVV are better.
>skaplan31: EEIIMOO F8 MO.IE +10 145
>parteegirl: DERSSTV 13C REVS +25 160
#note 13B VERTS does get rid of another consonant for her. Still telegraphs an S.
>skaplan31: CEEIOOR J2 COI.ER +16 161
#note And I missed the FLAMINGO hook! 11H OORIE in this case.
>parteegirl: ADDLNST D9 LAND.D +16 176
>skaplan31: AEGOOOT I9 OAT +15 176
#note Maybe C10 TOERAG is better?
>parteegirl: FGIRSTT 3I G.T +6 182
#note Interesting
>skaplan31: AEEGOOO -AEGOOO +0 176
#note Of course.
>parteegirl: FIIRSTU 7H .I. +6 188
>skaplan31: DEEERUY J11 EERY +17 193
#note Blocking the MIR hooks and the OAT hooks after her 2nd fish in a row.
>parteegirl: FIRSTUU 13I F.UIT +24 212
#note Now I know she's got the S.
>skaplan31: BDEJLTU K8 JUBE +32 225
#note Just gotta hope that I can hit a J play at 8K in the future to fork if Connie bingoes. And this is more open than L10 JUBILE as the top will become harder to open up should Connie bingo.
>parteegirl: ?DEIRSU N9 cRUISED +77 289
#note This is definitely the right play in this situation.
>skaplan31: ADLOTUX L7 DOTAL +27 252
#note This is where I need to get creative. There are no more bingo lines on this board. UX isn't typically an ideal leave, but keeping a good leave doesn't mean much on this board. I am keeping UX to attempt to hit 15K EXUDE next turn with 4 Es left in the pool.
>parteegirl: ANORRST 15K TAR.O +21 310
#note While Connie did block the possibility of EXUDE, I do have another potential path to victory.
>skaplan31: ELNOUXZ M2 ZONULE +36 288
#note With there being only 1 A left in this pool, if Connie parallels next turn on Column N, I can get nice counterplays with my X. If Connie didn't draw the last A, the only way she can really score much is by making a Z play on Row 2 giving me a nice scoring play with the X. My creativity has paid off 2 turns in a row. And it doesn't matter that this play is best on Quackle, I can force a response that will prove beneficial for the X a lot of the time.
>parteegirl: BENPRSS 2M .EP +28 338
#note And knowing Connie was probably afraid that I drew the A after playing off 6 tiles, she did make the Z play that I was just talking about.
>skaplan31: AGHOPXY 4L O.YX +44 332
#note I almost could have won the game on this play by drawing an E here for EPOXY for 75 pts! I do threaten APEX next turn because Connie can't possibly have APEX. On the flipside, Connie could have EPOXIES, and the G and H are clunkier than usual on this board.
>parteegirl: BINORSS 1N BO +28 366
#note While she didn't have EPOXIES, she does rightfully block APEX and I'm in trouble.
>skaplan31: AEGHINP O4 .ENIA +36 368
#note This does score the most, but no wins exist here.
>parteegirl: EINRSS 3E SIN +11 377
#note She could do N6 IN or IS for 14 here and not give me a spot to score well with my clunk.
>skaplan31: GHP F1 PH. +16 384
>parteegirl: ERS 1D RE.S +7 384
#note All righty then. Can't do much about having no wins. Congrats on winning the tourney!
>parteegirl: (G) +4 388
