#description Created with Macondo
>TheBigEZ: BGLOPST - +0 0
#note Rd 1 of Philly virtual 12/27/2020. I'm first but Woogles had Ed going first.
>skaplan31: DEIIMTV 8G VID +14 14
#note I chose this over VIM as it better allows the board to open up with the AVID hook or the VIDS/VIDE hooks. While I had an E here, IVIED is also better than VID, but EIMT is a better leave than MT.
>TheBigEZ: BGLOPST 7H BOG +15 15
>skaplan31: EFHIMOT 6E THIO +20 34
#note Meh... I needed an option to get rid of the F, it's a bad tile on this board. 4th best play here, but 6G FOH is clearly better.
>TheBigEZ: ELOPSST K2 TOPLESS +75 90
#note This does play at 5A for 79 but this is safer.
>skaplan31: ACEFIMR 4H CAM.FIRE +92 126
#note Well then... I would have gotten this down either way. Got lucky that he gave me the P I needed for this.
>TheBigEZ: FIITTUW 8K .WIFT +45 135
#note Easily best for him.
>skaplan31: ?ADEEIS E5 S.EADIEr +82 208
#note This, STEADIEs, and STEADIEd are the only 2x2s that exist.
>TheBigEZ: BILTUUZ D8 ZIT +48 183
#note Best for him again. He's not in a good spot imo.
>skaplan31: AEINOQY 7M QI +47 255
#note Of course.
>TheBigEZ: ABLORUU O1 LUB. +18 201
#note O1 BUREAU scores the most and would have freed up the clunky UU combo.
>skaplan31: AEENOOY L8 .ANEY +22 277
#note #findingsolid this game again. Most points by far.
>TheBigEZ: ANOORUY K11 YOU +27 228
#note Nice play here too.
>skaplan31: AAEEKOO 6N KA +36 313
#note I absolutely hated the idea of keeping 5 vowels. I still have the R in STEADIER to use to get myself out of my vowel mess next turn potentially, and the pool has a boatload of consonants in it. Definitely not bad right now as I am still 76% to win after this, and 36 never hurts.
>TheBigEZ: AHINORR D1 RHINO +20 248
#note I like the aggression here. I thought he had an R after YOU, and this keeps me on my toes.
>skaplan31: ADEEOOT 1D .OOTED +21 334
#note I do want to eliminate this threat, but ROADEO is slightly better.
>TheBigEZ: AENNRRX 2D .EX +56 304
#note Easy enough for him here.
>skaplan31: AEELORU 14I AUREOLE +75 409
#note I am a luckbox. Ed has played very well this game.
>TheBigEZ: AAJNNRR 13M JAR +42 346
>skaplan31: ACGLMSV 15M GAM +47 456
#note Was gonna do MAGLEV O10 until he did this. This is fine if I want to just score. I could have also done 15G CLAMS for 41 to block Row 15. The pool is nice, and I could draw bingoes thru the R in STEADIER. Figured I'd have another option for bingoes of my own if Ed takes Row 15. And I get 6 more than CLAMS along with keeping the S.
>TheBigEZ: AGNNRRT 15F GRANT +22 368
>skaplan31: ACDLSUV 13G LUV +21 477
#note I did see 13G VAC for 9 more, but this is much better defensively. for the R in STEADIER.
>TheBigEZ: ?EENNPR 10A PER..NENt +64 432
#note That is an excellent find! And he found this pretty quickly too which was the impressive part of it all. Only bingo.
>skaplan31: ACDEINS A7 SCA.ED +39 516
#note I did spend a while on this turn. This nets me the most overall spread over ENDCAPS, PECANS, and CAPSID, and the like.
>TheBigEZ: W 9A .W +10 442
#note B10 EW also works.

This was a nice one, Ed kept me on my toes the whole time and showed how well he played when he found PERTINENT.
