>skaplan31: AIKORTT 8H TROIKA +30 30
#note This, TROAK, and TRAIK are about equal in the sim.
>schnydtx: ACDEIIW 9K DAW +29 29
>skaplan31: AEFGGPT 10L FAG +27 57
#note Easily best!
>schnydtx: ACEIINR N10 .ENIC +16 45
#note Interesting play. I think (KAF)IR is better for the score and the leave for him. He did not keep an S after this, otherwise he would have made a nice play with the FAGS hook. Also, GENIC does not take an S.
>skaplan31: EEEGIPT 12J PEEI.G +22 79
#note He's random enough after GENIC that I didn't need to worry about opening up the 2x2 like that. This is best.
>schnydtx: AEIRUWX 11H WAUR +22 67
#note 13I WAX is 8 more but EIRU is risky. Shedding the UW combo is certainly desirable so this is fine too.
>skaplan31: AEEOPRT 12B OPERATE +76 155
#note Yep
>schnydtx: ?DEIOQX 13B XI +35 102
#note Q thinks 13A OXID for 9 more is worth it here.
>skaplan31: AIOSTUU 14B OUTA +33 188
#note Before he did XI, I thought I was not gonna score much or exchange. But, had he done OXID, the best scoring plays I would have had are either 14A SOU or 14B OUST. Lucky me I guess.
>schnydtx: ?BDEEOQ 15E BODE +25 127
#note This is best for him.
>skaplan31: EIIISUZ E7 SIZIE. +30 218
#note This, exchanging down to ESZ, and exchanging down to EISZ are all close. Might as well go up by more than a bingo here. Quackle does slightly favor this over exchanging.
>schnydtx: ?EHOOQS 8D Q. +21 148
>skaplan31: AGILNUU K3 IGUAN.. +18 236
#note Maybe -UU or 7E SULU are slightly better but this does go for a blank nicely.
>schnydtx: ?EEHOOS J6 HO. +29 177
#note This is best nonbingo play. Chris missed the hard to see I2 OOSpHE(R)E for 63. It is not one of those OO beginning words that takes a Z front hook.
>skaplan31: ?LNOOTU 3F vOLUT.ON +68 304
#note With my nice lead, this is the most defensive bingo there is. sOLUT(I)ON and LOcUT(I)ON play in this spot too.
>schnydtx: ?EELOSS O4 EgOLESS +79 256
#note This is a nice play over LOESsES and EcLOSES in the hopes of drawing HAJ/RAJ/TAJ N4.
>skaplan31: ABEILSV N5 AB +21 325
#note I did see plays at H1, but taking out HAJ/RAJ/TAJ that I alluded to last turn was necessary.
>schnydtx: ACEHTVY E1 CHEVY +40 296
>skaplan31: EFILSTV 1E .LIFT +30 355
#note Sorry quackle, gotta play defense here. I understand why you want me to play 9C FIZ.
>schnydtx: AEIMMTY 2B MYT. +24 320
#note Nice play
>skaplan31: DDERRSV 10G REDD +29 384
#note I do score the most, but unfortunately I drew no vowels so I am V stuck.
>schnydtx: AEIMNNR M3 .EMA +15 335
#note I understand him wanting to take out my best J play of HAJ, but he needed to score himself knowing my next best one was F11 RAJ for 12. 4H IMAGE was his best move here.
>skaplan31: JLNRSV F11 R.J +12 396
#note Highest scoring J play here.
>schnydtx: INNR 13K IN +7 342
#note However, he does V stick me. Maybe JO was better so that I don't get V-stuck? #visionbad
>skaplan31: LNSV 13B ..S +13 409
>schnydtx: NR K11 ...N +4 346
#note His out play was G1 IRON.
>skaplan31: LNV H14 N. +2 411
>schnydtx: R G3 .R +2 348
#note His only out.

I was too focused on shedding the J that I ended up costing myself roughly 10 spread points. On the other hand, I was definitely glad to see VOLUTION to allow me to close off any opening that Chris made.

1-2 now.
