Player 1
#player1 Johnny_Utah Johnny Utah
#player2 Harriette_Lakernick Harriette Lakernick
>Johnny_Utah: ?CEGINQ 8D QuINCE +52 52
#note Casual game. Championship Player likes CINQ here a little more than my play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AERZ F6 ZA.RE +36 36
>Johnny_Utah: ?EGHORS J2 HOGgERS +87 139
#note I backed out of CHOREGUS and flat out whiffed on COUGHERS. This was an embarassing turn.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ADEINOT H8 .ATENOID +86 122
#note Harriette has SEDATION after COUGHERS and CHOREGUS anyway but SEDATION scores 80 and not 86.
>Johnny_Utah: AABIJLY 2J .IJAB +34 173
#note Best play. I've missed this word in the past so I was pleased with this find.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EFMSU 11B FUMES +35 157
>Johnny_Utah: AAILOVY L2 .OVIAL +32 205
#note Best play according to the Championship Player.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ADILNOR M7 ORDINAL +75 232
#note Best play. Harriette had DOORNAIL and TRINODAL also available so she was probably bingoing anyway.
>Johnny_Utah: AIILORY D11 .ORAY +28 233
#note My play is second best to the fantastic G5 RAINY for 37.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EORY L11 OYER +28 260
>Johnny_Utah: ABCFIIL 1M FAB +33 266
#note Best play. I didn't want the HIJAB spot staying open.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AEUV B11 .AUVE +22 282
>Johnny_Utah: CDIILLN 3I C.D.N +37 303
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ENTW I11 WENT +20 302
>Johnny_Utah: ADIILLP K10 LIP +24 327
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: OTW G12 OWT +26 328
>Johnny_Utah: ADEIKLS 1D ALKIDES +100 427
>Johnny_Utah: ADEIKLS -- -100 327
#note Terrible play to make. You know this is getting challenged automatically because it scores 103 and I figured SHOGGERS* wasn't good. It turns out ALKIDES* wasn't good either. Just play SIKA.
>Harriette_Lakernick: H K1 H.. +7 335
#note My play did lead to this block because Harriette thought SHOGGERS* was good so some good came out of my last play.
>Johnny_Utah: ADEIKLS 15L SIKA +36 363
#note Quackle thinks I'm right to play here but likes other plays like ALSIKE, SILK, SIKE and SAKE by a little more. I didn't want to create a hard to block lane that ended with an E so I went with SIKA.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EMS 1H MES. +38 373
>Harriette_Lakernick: EMS -- -38 335
#note Now Harriette goes for the SHOGGERS* hook but I correctly realize it's not good and challenge it off.
>Johnny_Utah: DEELNOT 9E T.E.D +18 381
#note I think this is the best play but there is some debate. I figured the only ways I could lose were by opening the board and getting hit with a bingo or getting outrun with an X bomb. I keep the board closed, score 20 and block X bombs with TREAD. Nothing is 100% to win, surprisingly. The Championship Player doesn't find my play, but when added to a sim my play sims best after many iterations.
>Harriette_Lakernick: IM 8M .IM +15 350
>Johnny_Utah: EGLNOUX O4 GENO. +10 391
#note I block the M just in case. My play is close to 100% but not quite 100% to win according to the Championship Player. I'm not sure why. There are no bingos through the Z with the unseen pool and I hold the X.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EEGIRST - +0 350
#note It's a good thing I blocked the M, because Harriette had GERMIEST for the win if I didn't. Harriette unsuccessfully challenged.
>Johnny_Utah: LPTUUX 6C PUT. +15 406
#note Best play. I played PUTZ to set up LUX for an out in two.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EEGIRST C3 GRI.E +18 368
#note Best along with E4 GIT and C3 TRIPE. All three plays block LUX.
>Johnny_Utah: LUX E11 .X +18 424
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EST 4C .EST +8 376
#note N7 TIES scores 9 more and is the only play that scores more than 8.
>Harriette_Lakernick: (LU) +4 380
#note Better than the last game, but COUGHERS was an embarrasing miss and trying ALKIDES*/SHOGGERS* was too greedy and could have cost me the game. Other than those two plays, I played pretty well.
