Player 1
#player1 Johnny_Utah Johnny Utah
#player2 Harriette_Lakernick Harriette Lakernick
>Johnny_Utah: EEIOOPS -EOOP +0 0
#note Casual game. Fascinating situation. I considered POISE, my play, and keeping ES trading 5. Trading 4 and keeping PIS or PES I didn't consider. Playing OE is also an option. All of these plays are pretty close.
>Harriette_Lakernick: DHOT 8G DOTH +16 16
>Johnny_Utah: EEEHISV 9F VEE +13 13
#note I chose VEE over more open options because it cuts Harriette's average score a lot on the next turn. The Championship Player likes my play the best.
>Harriette_Lakernick: GIW J7 W.IG +15 31
>Johnny_Utah: EEFHIJS K4 JEFE +33 46
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AOT L2 TAO +24 55
>Johnny_Utah: HIOPQSZ M1 POH +28 74
#note 11F QOPHS for 31 actually sims best according to the Championship Player. I considered it, but was concerned about column M overlaps. QOPHS also makes for a very closed board position which I don't typically like.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AU F9 .AU +8 63
>Johnny_Utah: CINNQSZ 12B CINQS +39 113
#note Some people always miss CINQ and some people always miss NIQAB. I am in the group who always miss NIQAB but find CINQ so I found my play here. 11E QUIZ and my play sim pretty much neck and neck. I don't like keeping two N's with a C and would rather keep a Z for scoring.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ?AAEILT 5D ALIEnAT. +64 127
#note B8 ANALCITE for 72 is the type of extremely aggressive play I would play, but that's not an auto-find for a lot of people and ALIENATE narrowly sims better than ANALCITE anyway. ALIENATE sims the best out of all bingos according to the Championship Player.
>Johnny_Utah: ?BMNSUZ F4 B.Z +34 147
#note Best play. I thought I might have missed a bingo here but this isn't close to anything at all.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ACY 4B CAY +26 153
>Johnny_Utah: ?EIMNSU N2 MINUtES +82 229
#note This was stupid of me. I correctly focused on the N2 spot and quickly saw MINUTES and eventually MISTUNE. I correctly concluded MISTUNE gave back too much and wasn't worth the four extra points but I didn't think to shuffle the letters and make MINUSES and MINUETS which accomplish the good things MINUTES does and score four extra points to boot. Sure it's only four points, but this is still stupid.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EOR 8L RO.E +15 168
>Johnny_Utah: AAENNTV B10 VA.ANT +38 267
#note Best play. No blanks unseen so I am fine with opening the triple triple. Typical of me.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EENRSU 15B .UREENS +24 192
>Johnny_Utah: BEFNOPS O1 PESO +37 304
#note Considered the FOB's and FOP's plays, but didn't think they bingoed enough to sacrifice 13 points. The board isn't that friendly to bingos here so I opted to keep scoring with my best scoring play. All of the plays I considered are between 98%-99% to win.
>Harriette_Lakernick: IIW H12 IWI. +8 200
>Johnny_Utah: BDFLNOX C11 N.X +40 344
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: IRT 4F .RIT +13 213
>Johnny_Utah: ABDFILO 14F FO.L +30 374
#note 14E OF and 14D OAF are similar options. All three are excellent plays.
>Harriette_Lakernick: DKR M7 D.RK +17 230
>Johnny_Utah: ABDGIOT N10 ADBOT +28 402
#note I go with ADBOT for the best equity, score, and to kill as many bingo lanes as possible. The Championship Player really likes ADBOT but also has B2 DACOIT a little higher for some reason. I don't like that play at all so I would play my play again in a second.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AILR O12 ARIL +24 254
>Johnny_Utah: DEGIMNU 7C GUDE +23 425
#note I had the right idea here setting up NIM for the next turn. The Championship Player has 7C NIDE setting up B6 MUG as two better though.
>Harriette_Lakernick: EGLORY L10 ORGY +23 277
#note O6 ELEGY is one point better.
>Johnny_Utah: IMN 8B NIM +18 443
#note Best play. I also had C1 MINA if NIM got blocked for whatever reason.
>Johnny_Utah: (EL) +4 447
#note I was pleased with my performance today!
