Player 1
#player1 Harriette_Lakernick Harriette Lakernick
#player2 Johnny_Utah Johnny Utah
>Harriette_Lakernick: DMPRSTY - +0 0
#note Casual game. Exchange 2.
>Johnny_Utah: NPTWWYZ 8G WYN +18 18
#note Best play. I might consider exchanging otherwise, but after a trade 2, I am definitely going to do this because it forces some bingos to play in the triple lane.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AAEIRST J4 ATRESIA +71 71
#note Best along with ARISTAE J5. This gives back less so this is probably best.
>Johnny_Utah: LPTTUWZ 4I W.LTZ +34 52
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: AAN M3 A.AN +26 97
>Johnny_Utah: AEIIPTU K2 PU.I +16 68
#note Best play.
>Harriette_Lakernick: IJV H5 JIV. +17 114
>Johnny_Utah: AAEIOTT I7 I.ATE +19 87
#note This is phony but it sims best if it wasn't. I confused the spelling of INNATE. I don't think I am the first person to do this in a Scrabble game.
>Harriette_Lakernick: CDKU K10 DUCK +26 140
>Johnny_Utah: AEEOOST 12K .OOEE +16 103
#note Extremely aggressive and the best simming play according to the Championship Player by about 3%. People need to make more of these sorts of plays when they are behind.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ENR 13K .ERN +24 164
>Johnny_Utah: ACDNNST O8 DANC.S +36 139
#note Best play. One of the things I'm making sure to do is not overvalue S's. It's unofficial value is probably about 7-10 points but it's not 20. In some of my other earlier games a few years ago, I would hang on to S's for too long and miss out on scoring 12 more points like I do here. There are still two S's and two blanks out so no need to hang on to the S here.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ?AEFORS 14E FEdORAS +75 239
#note Harriette said after the game she would have played 11B FEARSOME for 70 if she had a do over. I think that's better than FEDORAS, but we both spaced out on 3C SAFROLE and FORSAKE for 78. Those two plays sim best. FEARSOME sims third best according to the Championship Player.
>Johnny_Utah: DGNOTTX 15G OX +55 194
#note Best play. The downside of FEdORAS.
>Harriette_Lakernick: HIORU 13A HOURI +21 260
>Johnny_Utah: DGNORTT B8 DOGTR.T +26 220
#note Another moment of truth play. As you can see by now, these sorts of extremely aggressive plays are pretty commonplace for me. You've got to give yourself a chance to win, right? My play scores the most and turns over 6 in an attempt to go for the last S and/or blank. My plan was to draw a bingo ending with an S that would play in column C after Harriette made a column A play. The only problem with this logic is if Harriette scores too much on column A and my bingo is pedestrian, I will still be behind on a rapidly exhausted board. The Championship Player likes my play the best but the many ply simulation thinks I should play A12 THRO instead. I don't think DTNG works as a leave on this board with row 3 and row 9 bingos needing to end with vowels. What do you think?
>Harriette_Lakernick: ADEFMO A4 FOAMED +60 320
#note That scored way more than I was expecting.
>Johnny_Utah: ABEIINS 10B .IB +6 226
#note 15A ISBA might be my play if I were leading but I'm not doing that down by 100. I wanted to open another lane in case the (ED)S lane gets blocked. The Championship Player finds a better version of my play, D10 BIER for 12 keeping ANIS. There are 4 E's unseen so no need to hang on to one.
>Harriette_Lakernick: BHO 2M HOB +33 353
#note I wondered when the HAZAN spot would get used. Very nice!
>Johnny_Utah: AEGIINS 3M .I +4 230
#note Somehow I miss again with my fish. The Championship Player likes fishing the I at A13 for 7 instead, I go for N3 to try and block easy O1 points.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ILLR 4A .RILL +16 369
>Johnny_Utah: AEGILNS F1 LEASING +71 301
#note Best play. My bingo still fits.
>Harriette_Lakernick: ?ENQTUV C2 QU.VEr +34 403
#note QIVIUT in the same spot seems to be best, but this play blocks GERMY.
>Johnny_Utah: EEEGMPY 1E E.MY +27 328
#note Best play along with YLEM. No wins for me.
>Harriette_Lakernick: NT M11 T..N +4 407
#note Best play along with 3F ANT.
>Harriette_Lakernick: (EEGP) +14 421
