#note I could do OUD or SOU as well, I did like how this keeps the S lane intact though, and any block will open a lot of new S lanes. SOU or OUD are definitely worth considering too to keep 7s lanes more intact if he makes an ATTE parallel, although most will still play. definitely prefer playing OU here to doula or an even less fishy play, I'm behind and nothing scores remotely well while keeping things open.

#note already a bit vowel heavy and E heavy - I should have noticed that and given more consideration to Y(A)W or V(A)W or C(A)W. It's cool to keep the Y for 1a plays, EERVY for EVERY next turn. Good to note that Y(A)W for 30 is way better than Y(E)W for 30, the open T benefits CEERV a ton! way more than it benefits Austin. YAW bingoes by far the most next turn. EVERY still sims best, but it's worth considering.

#note I was SHOCKED to see epinaoi come down given the vowel shortage in the pool! It also opened the window for a bit of a sneak victory if I can ride my vowels for a while. HAP L4 looks standard but I think I have to play this - I hope for the Z for ZAP, and if he can play there at all he's likely using his only vowel. It's nice to block this vowel spot as well, since he can play FUD and other cheap plays. I was thinking with a ZAP draw I could possibly outrun without a bingo, but I still expect I'll need to draw an S and bingo.

#note even more ridiculous to draw 2 more vowels with hup! 17/21 non-blank tiles in the pool are consonants (i rly need the blank). Maybe I do YA(W)P here to bingo way more - I knew the Y was only hindering my bingo chances, but it can be good to use for another play before getting in bingo range. I was wary of extending into the bottom space too much for fear of exhaustion - I wanted to keep both quails and wows alive. YAWP still may be the call, since it's not an easy block immediately.

#note lots of interesting options here. WAREZ scores the most, but I felt it would never actually outrun, and IBY isn't close to bingoing. Even if he doesn't hit the Z, I'm giving him a floating E to play through, and I'll still need to bingo. ABY sets up my E, but my worry was that he can block to the Y, or even leave it alone (and I still need to bingo, EIRZ isn't ideal for that). He might block and give me a Z play like ZAIRE or at h12, but I still don't think that is enough to win too often. I liked WIZ cause I could see a clearer path for it winning, cause I can bingo with BETRAYS immediately and other plays down the road. I can also play ABY next turn with ZA and make a further-right S hook to keep preserving QUAILS. A sim likes WAREZ but I still don't buy that it can win at all consistently
