#note should probably throw the H back too. pretty close
>Cesar: MOQRUVZ -MOQRUV +0 0
#note maybe 8g OVUM to set up the Q for next turn, and encourage 9c/7c plays which may open better Q/Z spots.
>Jackson: EHILSTT H3 THISTLE +78 78
>Cesar: AEMNRSZ 5G Z.RAM +32 32
#note NIZAM is an improvement in leave, and ZAS looks best.
>Jackson: GIOPQRR 6J GORP +22 100
#note PIROG is the minor setup I was looking for! I can get QAT sometimes, and often just QI, and QI/PIROGI with an I draw when it doesn't get blocked. And drawing more tiles is good for finding the helpful Q tiles. PIROG does give more back though. Quack still prefers GORP though, saying it gives back more to him than me. Maybe the Q is still inflexible for me, whereas he can often capitalize on my openings. hmm, I think I would still have played pirog had I seen it

#note looks best, I get 1L plays suuuper consistently, and he can only have an N-starting word there, so I'm not too worried (or some vowel starting words, but again, there are better places to play on the board for him). I thought he coulddd sniff out the setup, but even then I could have duplicate Us, and there's not much he can do to block w/o sacrificing lots. FUMET sets up the X at 4D and 1C, but this still averages more over the two turns.
>Cesar: ADDGNOR 2A DRAGON +29 232
#note ODD 1M looks like the play here, AGNR is quite good, and the M is definitely higher in my range than normal, even though it's not a total guarantee
>Jackson: AEIMTUW 1L MAUT +43 268
#note could leave the spot again and play VIEW, but I think it's now more likely the spot gets taken than before, with fewer other scoring options available.

#note PEOPLING!
>Cesar: CENOTTW 1E WONT +30 332
>Jackson: AADOSUU A12 .AU +6 382
#note I think VAU or UNAU are both reasonable. VAU can open itself up to plays like Cesar made, but I can usually block everything pretty easily. UNAU blocks a few more bingoes, albeit it's really unlikely hebingoes after VAU anyways. UNAU still sets up my S for consistent outscoring, and blocks so many bingoes. I think I prefer it, since I'll be able to deal with almost any opening he can make. I still can probably outrun most bingoes if he bingoes immediately after VAU, since I'll be down by 20 or so, and he'll have 5 tiles. UNAU could just get into trouble since it kinda closes me off to outrunning bingoes if he makes a low scoring opening (something like VINO or something that opens a second side of the board). At the time, I did prefer UNAU, but now I see more merit to VAU, even though it will get me into complicated positions. I wanted to play VAU partly for flash and cause I figured I was really favoured to win with either play.
>Cesar: CEKNORT 8L .OCK +36 368
>Jackson: ADIOSUY 12L .U +2 384
#note One of the advantages to playing VAU - he may have not played POCK had I played UNAU, but I would definitely be a bit warier of being outscored. a lot of plays will win here, cause emptying the bag is okay for outrunning purposes cause I have VAUS still. NU is pretty cause it wins without emptying the bag. I didn't see AFEBRILE, so this doesn't actually win always. I don't have any plays that block every bingo, SOUDAN blocks AFEBRILE but leaves CLARINET open.

I have to block TRIANGLE, FIBRANNE, CLARINET here. COYAU also does the trick, or GUY or whatev.
