#note did this over JEW to set up N1 COW. Since N1 plays usually give a lot back (like BOW), I would probably only make this setup with COW or VOW or something fairly defensive. I could also play OWE I6 to go for an A draw and JAB for 53, but that's not worth it. Q thinks it's close between JEW and JOE. that's not considering what his N1 plays give back to me though, but it also assuming I play BOW over COW in the sim, so I think it ends up being pretty close between the two plays (the former factor probably has a bigger effect over the sim's results than the second)

#note I could see his reluctance when he played ZAG. I liked this over SWUNG cause SWUNG invites underlaps that will reopen the board, but CURVY is just super defensive. I am def worried about ?AT setups, but at least the devastating Cs are gone, so stuff like PAT can at least be blocked sometimes by RAGI and the like. still a worry for next turn.

#note was happy to draw the last remaining Ss and to see him play BIKE and block most of the ?AT setups. I might want to play wyn/by here. looks close. EGSS at least takes out the 7 conso rack danger. I should probably do that. I wanted to keep both Ss to hit SCURVY as a scoring play, hence not WYTES. however there is something to be said for playing the S to avoid the 7 consos. I think WYN is the play #strategysmall

#note yesssss never have i been happier to draw LNR into LLRS!!!! pool is 12 vowels and 15 consonants and I was just so happy to be sitting on this fucking awful but beautiful rack! although I'm pretty guaranteed to win no matter what, I liked playing this to leave 6 in the bag to prevent him from exchanging, just to force him to play through his vowels. I have SCURVY lined up for the future, but I'd rather leave that for later just to prevent him from exchanging immediately.
