>Josh: OR I8 OR +12 18
>Mack: ?DDJLMT 10F D.M +16 89
#note Not MID because of the hooks. I could exchange, and perhaps I should've in hindsight, but this seemed worth it - it's still 16 points and blocks the E.
>Josh: EENRSSU 12C ENSU.ERS +68 86
>Mack: ?DDJLQT C9 JaD.D +42 131
#note Yuck. I think I have to play this though. C11 JET leaving DDLQ? seemed awful, it gives back the JETE hook which I won't be able to use for at least another turn or two and doesn't leave me any options with the Q unless I draw a U or an I for J10 QIS. I could exchange, but JaDED is still 42 points and saves 10B QAT for next turn, which might not get blocked, and the possibility of QIS or F5 QAT next turn with an A or I draw.

>Josh: OOPT 3I P.OTO +26 295
>Mack: CEFGITY N1 FIG +26 260
#note Discarded L1 FYTTE because of the ugly CGI leave, but it's still probably best win %-wise since it leaves the PHOTOG hook open and opens another lane on column N. At the same time, spread was an important factor at this point in the tournament and FIG does a better job at limiting the chance of a blowout loss, so FIG has its merits too. Tough call, maybe a #strategysmall.
>Josh: DIR 4J .RID +19 314
>Mack: ACELRTY 1J TREY.A +39 299
#note Quackle says CAFE is a lot better, but I'm having a hard time seeing how LRTY is so much better than CL on this board.
>Josh: EILN E6 LINE +24 338
#note Nice fit here by Josh
>Mack: ACEILTU 5H CA.TLE +29 328
#note Didn't want to do 11J ACULEI since it doesn't even win much more anyway and greatly increases the chances of a big spread loss. CASTLE scores the most by far and seemed to be the best balance of ensuring I don't lose by much while keeping a small shot at a win if I draw well and Josh draws drek. ISTLE is also an option, but the pool is consonant heavy enough that the 6 points for CASTLE seemed worth it.
>Josh: IKO 11I OIK +18 356
>Mack: ACINTUU 6L TAU +14 342
#note Kind of at a loss here. Josh almost always has the M for ISM after OIK, and I can't really do anything about it other than hope he can't do anything there.
>Josh: AEMZ 13J MAZE +35 391
>Mack: BCINPUU C2 CUB +18 360
>Josh: AEHILWY 14K YAWL +41 432
>Mack: INPUV 12M PUN +14 374
#note Best.
