#player1 Glenn Glenn
#player2 Arie Arie
>Glenn: AIQU 8E QUAI +26 26
>Arie: AAAHORT 7G HAO +22 22
#note I always open with bad racks against Glenn. This is probably okay but the sim has a strange love for AAH. -2, if it's even wrong.
>Glenn: EGI 6I GIE +9 35
>Arie: AARTTVV 5J TAV +18 40
#note I missed VARVE K2 here, which is clearly better.
>Glenn: EKL 9G ELK +23 58
>Arie: ACDRRTV 10D CARD +17 57
#note This is boring but fine.
>Glenn: OX D10 .OX +24 82
>Arie: ABORSTV 13B BRAVO +33 90
#note This is best.
>Glenn: AET C11 TA.E +15 97
>Arie: CLSTTUY E8 .U.Y +44 134
#note This is the best I can score and wins a sim marginally over LUSTY or SLUTTY. If I infer that Glenn has a hook tile, then those plays may be better, but I'm not sure that it can be reliably inferred that Glenn has a hook tile, more so than with a random rack.
>Glenn: EEEILST 15C STEELIE +79 176
>Arie: CLRSTTU M2 CURST +21 155
#note Sim favors CULTS instead, which is insane, slotting the C and basically offering easy points. Maybe CULTI H11 to retain the S? No really appealing options.
>Glenn: DEIPR 2J PRI.ED +34 210
>Arie: EIILPTU 14I PLUTEI +24 179
#note This and PIU 1H are pretty close. This has the advantage of playing into the bag to draw the blanks and esses, and scoring 5 more, while sacrificing the EILT leave. PIU sims a point up but with a deficit to make up I don't think this is a mistake per se.
>Glenn: AEEM O1 A.EEM +27 237
>Arie: EIIINOS E13 .I. +6 185
#note I don't know what to do here. This bingos with 15/34 unseen tiles. I'm not sure I want to roll the dice with the alternatives. I need to bingo fast. There are no ways to score good points now.
>Glenn: HNT 15M NTH +22 259
>Arie: AEIINOS 3I OI +7 192
#note Sim likes this fish. What else can I realistically do?
>Glenn: WY 14A WY. +32 291
>Arie: AEILNOS 4C ANISOLE +68 260
#note Best bingo.
>Glenn: BDEGJNR C3 J.G +22 313
>Arie: ABFOOSZ 13M ZA +49 309
#note ZAS is another possibility - doesn't create a line for high scoring bingos, which may be an advantage with neither blank in hand. It also turns over one extra tile, increasing the probability that I draw a blank, and gets two more points, which could make a difference.
>Glenn: DEFINNR F12 N.D. +16 329
>Arie: BEFOOOS 5E FOE +26 335
#note BOEUF is the best alternative - blocks some lines, but scores 6 less (crucial in a tight game) and doesn't leave the B, which is probably a good tile for me. This wins a sim. Note that Glenn's only vowel is the I. EO was as good a draw after ZA as I could have hoped for without drawing a blank, because it likely leaves Glenn with no vowels.
>Glenn: DN L1 D.N +8 337
>Arie: BFMOOSW O9 WOMBS +27 362
#note Of course I was aware that I was setting up eNWOMBS, but I can reliably outrun it. This only loses if Glenn has and finds RINGwoRM (2/8 of the time).
>Glenn: ??GINRR O7 eN..... +39 376
>Arie: FIO 8L FOI. +11 373
>Arie: (?GNRR) +10 383
