#player1 Judy Judy
#player2 Arie Arie
>Judy: EIORU H4 OURIE +12 12
>Arie: AFJOOQR 7E FAQ.R +28 28
#note Oddly enough, QI instead in the same spot wins the sim by a small margin. This is likely due to the excellennt scoring opportunities that FAQIR creates, compared to the rather boring board after QI. Sure, I benefit from getting 7 more points, but the leave is barely better (AFJOOR vs. JOO) and I set up good 1 turn scoring opportunities. Would not have expected QI to win the sim at all.
>Judy: FIR 6D RIF +32 44
>Arie: EJKOOPW 5B JOOK +52 80
#note This is best.
>Judy: EINNSST 4G T.NINESS +66 110
>Arie: ACEEOPW 3B COWPEA +31 111
#note So it was a huge error not to challenge TONINESS, which is a phoney. I didn't even say hold because I knew I wouldn't have the gumption to challenge. Also, PESEWA N2 is better than COWPEA - not even close; PESEWA scores 7 more with a comparable leave. I didn't see PESEWA.
>Judy: EEILOSU -5 +0 110
>Arie: ADEIITT 8F TI. +20 131
#note This is best - ADEIT goes great with the floating N and S.
>Judy: AX 5K AX +31 141
>Arie: ADEIOTV 3K AVOID +40 171
>Judy: ?ABEENS 9A BEANiES +80 221
>Arie: AENSTTV 6L TAV +28 199
#note The TAV(S) hook will eventually save the game for me.
>Judy: NU A7 NU. +15 236
>Arie: EEHLNST 10B HE +28 227
#note This has to be best - point grabbing options like SHEET 10A aren't worth it, and other placements of HE give back too much.
>Judy: ADGU 2C GAUD +29 265
>Arie: ELNOOST 1E TOOL +21 248
#note Not sure what to do here - lots of viable choices. This is a reasonable play. NOEL 1A and LENTO 1B (LENTO is such a weird looking play) score 5 more but leave less developed leaves - they do better in the sim, possibly because I need the points now and I'm not hugely likely to bingo soon even with a better leave. STOLON 1D is the point grabbing option - gets 37 now, seems a little cheap for the last S but it does better than TOOL in the sim (very slightly). I still like my play because I do want to bingo, but I can understand the other options.
>Judy: BE 6H .EB +13 278
>Arie: EGLNPRS 2N PE +21 269
#note I figured Judy was unlikely to have the Z after REB (else REZ instead) so this was fairly safe. I wanted to get some points. The sim recommends the very fishy GAEN C8 for five points. I actually bingo the most if I play ALP M6 for 6 - but that sets up so much that it isn't worth it. This sort of position is hard to play well. How am I supposed to generate GAEN? I guess recognize that I should keep a good 5 tile leave with ES and that scoring 0 isn't optimal - there aren't that many ways to play off two.
>Judy: Z O1 Z.. +39 317
>Arie: AGLNRSW 2I AWN +18 287
#note I might want to consider cashing in on TAVS here with something like SWANG - problem is, I don't take a lead - I'm basically hoping that I draw the blank and it bails me out. With my play I hope that at some point down the road I get my bingo. It is very hare to play and get decent points on this board without opening up.
>Judy: AM 8C MA +13 330
>Arie: DGILNRS F6 ....D +13 300
#note There are 4 Es and a blank out - I have a pretty decent shot at getting SLINGER/ALIGNERS. However, if I play ERR I6 I also get SIDLING/SLIDING if I draw an I, bringing my odds of responding with a bingo up to 40% from 25%.
>Judy: CDHIIMY 10B ..Y +15 345
>Arie: EGILNRS O6 SLINGER +84 384
>Judy: ORR I6 ..ROR +10 355
>Arie: EEHIMTY N11 HEY +16 400
#note I thought this play was really defensive - but a surprising number of bingos play to the Y, and some nines ending in ER are also possible, beside those sevens parallel to ERROR that I can't effectively block. I chose this instead of YEH because YEH offered parallels on column N - failed to consider that they don't work without a blank. Best is to simply play YEH J9 and take my chances with sevens ending in S.
>Judy: DILL 13J DILL. +18 373
>Arie: EEIIMTU 12I TIME +23 423
#note Weak endgame - I should play MULIE and threated to go out. After TIME Judy can slow play me, playing MIC K14 to threaten GeT 11J to go out (which I must block with EMIC) and come within 37. After MULIE I should win by 46.
>Judy: ?CGT M9 CaT +13 386
>Arie: EIU B5 .EU +14 437
#note Correct. Only 8/15 optimal plays this game - but many difficult positions.
>Judy: G K12 ..G +6 392
>Judy: (I) +2 394
