#player2 Arie Arie
>Mark: EGGIMOS 8D MOGGIES +78 78
>Arie: AADEEPX - +0 0
#note Challenging MOGGIES isn't best. Apparently a MOGGIE or a MOGGY is a cat. The word was totally unfamiliar to me.
>Mark: ARUW 7I WAUR +22 100
>Arie: AADEEPX 6J AXE +28 28
#note This wins the sim by far due to its balanced leave (EXED for 42 is far below this.)
>Mark: ADIV M3 AVID +28 128
>Arie: ADEENOP 2L OPE +21 49
#note I liked the way this forked the board. I'm playing from a deficit and need to take a chance to make something happen.
>Mark: EMRSU 1H SERUM +37 165
>Arie: AADEELN 4J LEA.ED +24 73
#note ANELED O1 wins the sim but I don't like what it does to the board. I think if I could do it again I might go for LAVE or LAVE, each of which retains a hook onto column O while also opening row 3. This play is okay, I guess.
>Mark: DEIJO 9B EJIDO +31 196
>Arie: ?AHLNRW O4 .RAWL +27 100
#note Missed NARWHALE here. Saw NARWHAL but it didn't play, and I don't think it even occurred to me that NARWHALE was also good. This is the best non-bingo.
>Mark: PRZ B7 PR.Z +35 231
>Arie: ?CEEHNO N8 ECHElON +90 190
#note Best.
>Mark: EILNN O11 LINEN +26 257
>Arie: AEGQRTT 3I QAT +26 216
#note Best, although it doesn't do anything good to the board.
>Mark: BOY 10F BOY +26 283
>Arie: AEGNRTU C9 .AUNT +35 251
#note This is far better than JAGER for two more points.
>Mark: ?CFILOT 12A CO.FLIcT +82 365
>Arie: AEGIRSV 14A VISAGE +37 288
#note I reasoned that I would need to get lots of points right now and then get lucky and draw a bingo in order to win. I don't see things working out in my favor if I luck into some bingo after a standard fishy play (like MIG). Sim suggests VIRGA C3, which creates a good line for sevens ending in S - unfortunately, it is very blockable. This play doesn't sim well but I feel I just have to try it and see what happens.
>Mark: AIIIOTY 15D BOTAH +51 416
>Mark: AIIIOTY -- -51 365
>Arie: FIIIRRT 15F FIR +23 311
#note I guess maybe I could get some miracle bingo? Maybe FIRTH or FRITH instead to leave both spots open. Mark doesn't threaten anything on row 15 with the tiles I know he has, but he does have HOB N13 for 31 at the very least.
>Mark: AHKNOTY A6 KOA +31 396
>Arie: IINNRTU 10A I..R +18 329
#note I can't win. This at least gets a few points. Quackle is unhelpful in pre-endgames but doesn't like this.
>Mark: BEHOSTT C3 BETHS +28 424
>Arie: DINNTUY D1 TIYN +27 356
#note best. 4 out of twelve plays were definitely suboptimal, and two more were questionable. NARWHaLE was my first missed bingo of the trip, and MOGGIES my only unsuccessful challenge. I was overall unhappy with my level of play this game,
>Mark: OT M13 TO +13 437
