>Susi_Tiekert: GIO F6 GO.I +16 16
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?DELMRV H4 MaRV.LED +66 86
#note The only bingo that plays on this board. The other one I saw is OVERMILD (which is the only other 8 in DELMRV??). Best play by a long shot.
>Susi_Tiekert: AQT E9 QAT +35 51
>Samuel_Kaplan: AIIIOOR 4H .OIRAI +16 102
#note If Susi blocked the M, I would have easily exchanged. This is a lot better than exchanging and is best.
>Susi_Tiekert: ALMNY 3J MANLY +32 83
#note Nice play!
>Samuel_Kaplan: EFIIKOP D10 KEPI +28 130
#note Same word at 5K for 14 more. 1st big mistake this game.
>Susi_Tiekert: NTU C11 NUT +17 100
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADFINOT 10G D.AF +16 146
#note Q wants me to play 2N OF. That gives back wayyy too many points. Maybe E5 FAD?
>Susi_Tiekert: EEW 5K EWE +27 127
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEILNOT 11J EON +11 157
#note Saw 2N OE but I didn't like it. Didn't really know what to do here. Maybe 11H DIEL? This was weak.
>Susi_Tiekert: IORT 12J RIOT +20 147
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEIILT E2 TELIA +13 170
#note Again not playing at 2N. I wonder why Q wants me to play there, I can be hit really hard in response.
>Susi_Tiekert: NRU D6 RUN +8 155
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADEFIOW D1 WIFE +39 209
#note Finally I can score something. This is best and blocks very well given her leave consisted of more 1 pointers which means she could very well bingo on her next turn.
>Susi_Tiekert: AGINORS 14D SOARING +75 230
#note This is best for Susi!
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADEOOUX 15F XED +53 262
#note Despite the garbage leave, taking the extra points is definitely worth it, especially with only 7 of the 28 unseen tiles being vowels. Q agrees, this scores much more than anything else. This is best.
>Susi_Tiekert: ?DEEHSV N5 SHElVED +80 310
#note This over SHEaVED in the same spot is safer.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ALOOPTU 1A PLO. +27 289
#note 13F TOLU would have gotten rid of the dreaded U. This isn't bad tho, it will require a sacrifice of points to block the openings along Columns A and B. Plus, lots of consonants remain unseen.
>Susi_Tiekert: AB 13L BA +17 327
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEGOSTU 13F TAG +24 313
#note The consonant problem prompted me to not play off too many vowels again. TEGU in the same spot is definitely a little better. If I was ahead, I would have emptied the bag with OUTAGE 15J. Here's the problem: Susi has the last A because of her play of BA. I needed to outrun ZA at J6 or 13F because if she had the Z, she would have done ZA at 6J or 13F. So in reality, there's only 2 unseen vowels to me. This play at least keeps it close.
>Susi_Tiekert: AZ 6J ZA +35 362
>Samuel_Kaplan: EHNOSUY O10 HONEYS +47 360
#note Sure enough I did not draw any vowels. With an ugly pool, this play only loses to a U draw if she doesn't realize I have ULU 8M as my only out. HOUSEY, which I didn't know, wins with any draw. So while this wasn't bad, HOUSEY is clearly better. I did draw the U, which means I should have lost. But wait...
>Susi_Tiekert: BCCIRST 15K CRIB. +10 372
#note She missed her best (and winning) play of BIRLS 8K.
>Samuel_Kaplan: UU 8M U.U +6 366
#note Ok. That was lucky. Sometimes you find a play that wins with every draw except one, you get the only tile that screws you in the endgame, and then a win happens anyway. Whew.
