#player2 Steve_Sikorski Steve Sikorski
>Samuel_Kaplan: AIMNRUW 8F WAUR +14 14
#note Yep. Q agrees with this play. I correctly chickened out of UNWARM*, only UNWARMED is good.
>Steve_Sikorski: AOPT 7D ATOP +21 21
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEIIMNN 6D AIM +29 43
#note I correctly determined that nothing could end with the M along Row 8. This scores the most and takes out a nice hotspot. It also limits what Steve has to have in order to play on Row 8. This play is best and sims slightly ahead of NIM in the sam spot.
>Steve_Sikorski: DO E4 DO.. +10 31
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIIILNN 4C NI.I +10 53
#note Ugh. I hate these kinds of racks with all 1 pointers. Considered LININ 9B and my play. EILN>EI, my play is best.
>Steve_Sikorski: FGO 3B FOG +21 52
>Samuel_Kaplan: EILLLNX 8A NILL +19 72
#note L problem after I problem, yay. This is best. The X can wait.
>Steve_Sikorski: ?DEEILS J5 DIESELs +69 121
>Steve_Sikorski: ?DEEILS -- -69 52
>Samuel_Kaplan: ELNORRX C8 .ORNER +14 86
#note Knowing Steve's rack, no matter what I do, he's gonna bingo. OXER 3F gives up more points. I wanted him to bingo from my play so that the board is not shut down so easily. He would bingo thru the N in NILL on his next turn. Not sure if he did that on purpose or if he didn't see bingoes thru the letters in LORNER. With a random rack, this play is 3rd best but knowing what Steve's rack was, I figured I'd dig for the goodies and set up my X.
>Steve_Sikorski: ?DEEILS A6 LI.SEEDs +60 112
>Samuel_Kaplan: AELTUXY D11 AX +38 124
#note 1st mistake this game. EUTAXY 12C would have kept the board more open long term. This play is 5th.
>Steve_Sikorski: ERV E9 REV +24 136
>Samuel_Kaplan: EILRTUY 13A .U.ELY +18 142
#note Not bad. This at least accomplishes something. RYU F10 is best. My play is 5th.
>Steve_Sikorski: AI 2A AI +14 150
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIIQRTU 3F QUIT +26 168
#note 6A LI is an interesting choice by Q. It is slightly ahead of my play. Problem is if I miss, I'm not gonna score much next turn either, and any bingo I might have wouldn't be likely to play. My play is 2nd and slightly behind 6F LI.
>Steve_Sikorski: AESTZ J2 ZETAS +50 200
>Samuel_Kaplan: AAEIINR 1A ARIA +27 195
#note Definitely not playing ZAIRE 2J or ZANIER 2J after I know he has another S. This play is best. I can only hope for better draws than what I've been getting.
>Steve_Sikorski: EJP 5I J.PE +26 226
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIKNNOT L1 KOIN. +28 223
#note OINK 4L is 2 more. This is 2nd. My goal was to restrict his obvious S options.
>Steve_Sikorski: DD 2L .DD +10 236
>Samuel_Kaplan: ABEGNTW F10 WE +33 256
#note Bad draw again. This is best.
>Steve_Sikorski: ?CEENST O2 SCENTEd +83 319
#note This is Steve's best play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ABEGNST H1 BA.T +21 277
#note Now I'm in trouble. I couldn't do anything to block the ODDS hook on the previous play. This is best.
>Steve_Sikorski: HOY N7 HOY +15 334
>Samuel_Kaplan: EFGNOOS 10J GOOFS +27 304
#note At this point, the pool is drek. Steve was gonna make a play along Row 15 to outrun me somehow even after leaving 1 tile in the bag with 14F OF for 14 pts or hook OF along Column H. I decided to score and hope that Steve's rack was full of drek. I ended up drawing GHV out of the bag and, yea, game over.
>Steve_Sikorski: BCM L9 C.MB +20 354
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGHNV 13K VEG +25 329
#note Best I can do with the drek that I just drew.
>Steve_Sikorski: ERTU G7 ..RE +13 367
>Samuel_Kaplan: HN 11K H. +24 353
>Steve_Sikorski: TU M13 .UT +4 371
#note All righty. Nice job Steve. I can only do so much with what I have sometimes. Missing EUTAXY was probably my biggest mistake this game. I got a lot of moves right but EUTAXY would have created a more favorable board for me.
>Steve_Sikorski: (N) +2 373
