>Samuel_Kaplan: HIJLNTV 8G JILT +22 22
#note Nothing else to think about besides JILT.
>Jonathan_Kent: AAALNOX J8 .AXOL +28 28
#note Q suggests TAXA over this. This is 3rd.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGHNRVW 11H WH.RE +22 44
#note Hm. Q disagrees with my play. I wanted to fork but there was no great way of doing that while dumping the V. Anything starting with V blocks unnecessarily. Q likes VOW or VROW but I don't have the S hook. Building thru the O was the obvious move here although placing the E at 11L does give back a lot.
>Jonathan_Kent: ?AAGINV K2 VAGINAs +81 109
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGNRTV 5F EVERT.NG +62 106
#note Lucky me I guess. I looked thru the A and I didn't see anything. Yes I do give up a juicy REVERTING hook but this scores a lot more than any other play. This was mandatory given my deficit. Q agrees despite the dangerous R hook.
>Jonathan_Kent: AAEGITU 12C AUGITE +22 131
#note This is 2nd best play. A sick play is 10D GATEAU(X) for 5 more.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EHIKMNS 12L MINK +38 144
#note Didn't know the E hook on MINK. The same tiles at H1 is 10 more and is best. My play is 4th.
>Jonathan_Kent: AADEORT E2 ADORATE +92 223
#note How is this not good?!
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEHLNOS M1 HALO.ENS +76 220
#note Best play easily!
>Jonathan_Kent: BCEFIRU 1L C.UB +42 265
#note Best play by Jon!
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEIMOSZ H1 SEIZ. +72 292
#note No open R for SIEROZEM. This is best.
>Jonathan_Kent: BEEFIRY N10 FI.ERY +40 305
#note #boardvisionsolid again.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIMOOTW O6 TOWIE +29 321
#note I saw N6 WOO but that gives back too much. Just WO at M2 is fine. My play is 6th although this does go for the other blank with more turnover.
>Jonathan_Kent: ABDEINO 14G DEBONAI. +63 368
#note Nice find!
>Samuel_Kaplan: CDMOOPS 15H MOP +41 362
#note SODOM 15H is a nice fit- didn't see that. My play is 5th.
>Jonathan_Kent: ?AEPRUY F1 PYA +32 400
#note Wasn't sure if Jon was keeping the blank after this turn- it would have been a more obvious case if he played thru the A in AUGITE giving himself a lane for a 7 that's hard to block.
>Samuel_Kaplan: CDEFOST 6D C.F +29 391
#note I felt that I needed to bingo to have a shot. I like my play over DECAF or DEAF in the same general area of the board.
>Jonathan_Kent: ?EQRRUU C10 QU.RE +28 428
#note With a nice remaining pool, I think this was a smart play. If I hook this play with my S, he can use his blank to still outrun me. I could have bingoed out if he did QUEUE over QUARE. After this play, I couldn't find any wins during the game or during postmortem.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DDEOSST D2 DOT +23 414
#note STYE would have been better. Not that I saw any outs after any plays that I made.
>Jonathan_Kent: ?ILNORU O14 sO +29 457
#note I laid down an S and then took it back. Jon did the same thing seeing I hesitated and I didn't even hold. DEBONAIR only takes an E, not an S.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DESS 9A EDS +21 435
#note Missed my out play of SEEDS 14A but it didn't matter. Jon did take time before seeing his out play of LUNIER.
>Jonathan_Kent: ILNRU A5 LUNI.R +18 475
#note This is the right play to win by more. 15A NURL for 31 and then letting me go out with SEIZES H1 makes the score 488-453.

This was another well played game on both ends; it always seems to be a slugfest with Jon (no complaints obviously!) Not challenging ADORATE* contributed to my demise.
