>Jack_Eichenbaum: HPUW H6 WHUP +24 24
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADEFHIZ 6H .IZ +35 35
#note Considered my play, I8 HAFIZ, and 7C ZAIDEH. I didn't want to leave FH as it's not synergistic. Plays with the Z are nice immediate scoring options. ZAIDEH gives back a lot of points if he has an A, so that was out. WIZ scores well without giving anything back. This play is best.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: ANOX G7 AXON +33 57
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADEEFHT 11C HAFTED +38 73
#note This is the best play! This game has gotten off to a nice start thus far.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: AJY 12B JAY +41 98
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEEGNOV 13B OGEE +39 112
#note Yes! 3 best plays in a row!
>Jack_Eichenbaum: AGS 14A AGS +38 136
>Samuel_Kaplan: ELNOSTV 12G SOLVENT +89 201
#note No doubt about this one...
>Jack_Eichenbaum: ?AEFNRU N6 FURANEs +79 215
>Samuel_Kaplan: BDEILNR F1 BLINDER +70 271
#note Perfect thru 5 moves. Not sure I've done this before even though the last 2 moves were very obvious.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: DIOV 1F .OVID +33 248
>Samuel_Kaplan: IILOSTT 8L TI.L +15 286
#note 1st time I didn't make best play. I considered TORI, TIRL, and TIRO in the same spot. I wasn't sure how useful the L would be on this board. My main goal was to take out the E in SOLVENTS. TOIT E3 is best for 5 more.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: ENOP E3 PEON +26 274
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEIIOST 7J AI +13 299
#note IOTA M10 would have been sick- didn't spot that. My play is 4th. Jack is clearly not keeping an S after PEON.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: MY A13 Y.M +33 307
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIOOOST -OOO +0 299
#note Crappy draw. Not sure I would have done OTIOSE as Q says. My play is 8th.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: CEIT M3 CITE +17 324
>Samuel_Kaplan: EISSTUU K1 SUITE +22 321
#note Gotta love picking 2 Us after getting rid of 3 Os. This is where I needed to not fish and dig for the blank because plays like CITE suggest he doesn't have it. This play is best.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: IQ J3 QI +24 348
>Samuel_Kaplan: AKMOOSU 11K MOU. +24 345
#note I did not know OAKUMS. I saw OTAKU M11 but immediately passed it up as it's too dangerous. My play is 3rd according to Q.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: BOR D4 BRO +27 375
>Samuel_Kaplan: ACKNOSW O1 WACKOS +66 411
#note This play basically gave me much greater chances of winning this game. Best play by far! I misscored this by 1 point.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: DEE 13K DEE +23 398
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?AINRRR H11 ..RRs +15 426
#note I couldn't find any play that would extend from the DO at H11 without burning the blank. This play basically ensured that I would win as even if Jack decided to not go out, he would have to score somewhere else and I would have RAINs as an out play.
>Jack_Eichenbaum: AEGLT G3 ATE +21 419
>Samuel_Kaplan: AINR 15D RAIN. +5 431
#note This was certainly one of my best played games in tourney history. It wasn't just the slugfest that made it interesting, it was the fact that I got as many plays right as I did, whether they were obvious or not. The final score was recorded as 436-419.
>Samuel_Kaplan: (GL) +6 437
