>Bill: ?GLNOUU H6 ULU +6 6
#note Dells Spells Southern Edition (WGPO) 2019 Game 11 vs. Mike Johnson.
>Mike: OVX G4 VOX +22 22
>Bill: ?FGNOTY 8G Y.FT +10 16
>Mike: AEU 9I EAU +12 34
>Bill: ?CGNOOR 10G RONG +23 39
#note ORG here is much better.
>Mike: CEHNNOT 11B NOTCHEN +78 112
>Mike: CEHNNOT -- -78 34
>Bill: ?ACILOS 4G .OCALISe +76 115
#note Dammit, wasn't even looking through the O despite holding two of the hooks to ULU. Just not doing my due diligence on plays over and over again. SCOLIOMA is 90. I picked this out of the options I saw since I knew he didn't have any hooks for it.
>Mike: CEHNNOT 5B TECHN. +22 56
>Bill: DHIKRTT O1 THIRD +44 159
>Bill: EIIKTWW (challenge) +5 164
#note DHIKR!!!! Oh, the humanity. I did get +5 for the hook (also underscored it by 1).
>Mike: OZ J2 ZO. +32 88
>Bill: EIIKTWW F10 WIKI +36 200
#note This gives a lot back - not used to looking at OK when assessing possible responses to a play. I can play 3L KIWI now and hit the WRONG spot next turn.
>Mike: AEGINNO D5 .ANOEING +74 162
#note I facetiously noted the JONCANOEING* extension.
>Bill: ABDETTW C2 TAW.D +21 221
#note I was trying to draw an I for ZIBETH. Not only does this set up an S hook in a triple lane, but if I would stop trying so hard to be cute I could see that I have 40 points right now for BAWLED at K1.
>Mike: ?ADEIRT 12F .ERAToID +76 238
#note He has 83 pointers making STAWED, so at least I dodged that bullet.
>Bill: BEEEMQT 2A BE.EEM +32 253
#note Now trying to draw an I to be able to play QI for 37.
>Mike: ERSV 1E REVS +27 265
>Bill: EMPQRST L11 Q. +11 264
#note I have absolutely no problem drawing I's when I don't want them.
>Mike: OY 1A OY +32 297
>Bill: EIMPRST 14A IMPREST +90 354
>Bill: AEEFGNP (challenge) +5 359
#note There you are, I, not too late to be helpful.
>Mike: ADILNSU N6 DUALINS +77 374
>Mike: AEIJOOR (challenge) +5 379
#note Wow, here's yet another hilarious failure. I challenged DUALINS, which is valid, but KERATOID does not take an S. And that blows the game, and really the tournament. That is so disappointing. On the plus side, I think I almost broke Quackle by saying that, yes, DUALINS forms an invalid word but I want to play it anyway, no, I don't want it to be challenged off, and by the way I want to add five points to it. I'm going to try to turn this piss into lemonade (that's the expression, right?) by studying all -OID words to see if they take S hooks.
>Bill: AEEFGNP 15A FAE +41 400
#note Empties the bag, but I thought I needed the extra 7 points.
>Mike: AEIJOOR 8L JI.O +57 436
#note I really needed him to not have that, but I do not deserve to win the game at this point.
>Bill: ABEGLNP 7M P.B +21 421
#note Not close, K1 GABLE is best.
>Mike: AEOR M1 ARO.E +10 446
#note Final recorded as 458-420.
>Mike: (AEGLN) +12 458
