>Wayne_Clifford: AKMOU 8H OAKUM +28 28
>Matthew_Larocque: AEIIJQT K7 Q.ITE +28 28
>Wayne_Clifford: ?ABCEHN 10D BEACHNu. +66 94
#note Wow, I really dropped the ball on this one. I have a bad habit of validating words by pronouncing them in my head. I didn't even stop to think about the definition, and that BEECHNUT obviously makes more sense as a word.
>Matthew_Larocque: AABDFIJ 11C DIF +28 56
#note I don't understand how JIBBA/DJIBBA have never come up in any of my Scrabble games. JQXZ fives are among the few types of words that basically EVERYONE knows.
>Wayne_Clifford: AEFUV 12E FAUVE +24 118
>Matthew_Larocque: AABDGJL 7G ALB +18 74
#note This was the moment I sensed that I was going to be playing through medicore racks all game, and my current deficit would be insurmountable. I really needed to find H4 GADJO.
>Wayne_Clifford: OPST L10 STOP +29 147
#note Pretty aggressive by Wayne standards, so now I was really feeling the squeeze. He's probably blank bingoing very soon.
>Matthew_Larocque: ADEGJRX K5 RE.....D +39 113
#note I needed to keep STOP hooks open, and this threatens more points for me that his bingo rack will probably leave open.
>Wayne_Clifford: ?EGINST M2 INGEsTS +78 225
>Matthew_Larocque: AGJMRXY J4 JAY +36 149
#note I don't expect to get a better J play, the X can score in any number of locations. Sim agrees.
>Wayne_Clifford: DRY 6E DRY +14 239
>Matthew_Larocque: GMNNRWX 2K WR.NG +18 167
#note Seemed rather unlucky with the abundance of vowels.
>Wayne_Clifford: AIPT 1H PITA +23 262
#note Scored as 17? I don't double check every play, but I really should. Obviously this is more than 17 lol.
>Matthew_Larocque: MNNORTX 9C NOT +19 186
#note Kind of a bluff, but also necessary to keep multiple threats open. I don't see how M12 plays help me more.
>Wayne_Clifford: DILOST 14J DITSO +27 289
>Wayne_Clifford: DILOST -- -27 262
#note I'm wondering if his seventh letter was the other S.
>Matthew_Larocque: MNRUX 13I XU +34 220
#note I didn't write this leave.
>Wayne_Clifford: DILOST E3 DIL.O +14 276
>Matthew_Larocque: AIMNRVZ 4D V.ZIR +36 256
#note I was hoping he didn't have anything good for the G3 spot. D2 VIM is an alternative, trying to draw RAZE with all the Es left.
>Wayne_Clifford: CIS 13C CIS +21 297
>Matthew_Larocque: AAAEMNO M11 AMA +27 283
#note O1 AGAMA, I need to see that. No leeway. M11 ANOA would be nice, but c'mon he has the S.
>Wayne_Clifford: NOW O2 .OWN +12 309
>Matthew_Larocque: AEGILNO L6 NA. +23 306
#note I can kind of forgive my previous mistakes, but not this one. I saw GOWNING and decided it didn't make sense as a word. Man, look at the board. There's almost nothing left. GOWNING puts all the pressure on Wayne. Maybe he'll be afraid to challenge it. Maybe it's valid. And if for some reason I do lose my turn, the play I did end up making will surely stay open. Even if Wayne had the H, I don't see him making SH plays to open the TWS for bingos. I can't believe I didn't try GOWNING in hindsight, it's the ONLY play to make here.
>Wayne_Clifford: ORT 3G TOR +10 319
>Matthew_Larocque: EEEGILO D3 E.E +11 317
#note I knew I had way too many vowels to ouscore him now. I considered D2 LOVE setting up GLOVE, but how is that going to work if I can't even draw a word to use the hook?
>Wayne_Clifford: EH N12 EH +20 339
>Matthew_Larocque: EEEGILO C1 EEL +14 331
>Wayne_Clifford: ELRSU O8 LURES +27 366
>Matthew_Larocque: EGIO 8A GIE +14 345
#note OGEE 1A
>Wayne_Clifford: IO 3A OI... +6 372
>Wayne_Clifford: (O) +2 374
