#note Oof. I didn't even see APNOEA.
>Jackson_Smylie: BDEFRRS E7 B.RFED +24 24
#note FORB is a bit better, especially since I need to win by 30. it also forks S hooks and gives less back in scoring.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AAACRTW D4 WATA. +24 44
#note Also thought about AWA F10.

>Jackson_Smylie: HMNSSWY F2 WHYS +34 166
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: GINORUU 14A .URING +26 144
>Jackson_Smylie: GIMNNSS F12 .N. +4 170
#note I missed M(I)N(U)S, which looks better (I bingo a tad more). GIMNSS hits with all the vowels, ends up being 28/53. I felt good about that given I am "down" by 8 right now. I was thinking of an issue that I have to pretty much hit the 6 row or J column with this fish, but I realize now that it's unlikely it will get blocked. only 1 N out and no Ss out, so JINN plays aren't likely. 6 row plays are both unlikely to come down and unlikely to block bingoes, since any S hook will let my bingoes come down. I was hoping that ENG would induce a block from H12, which pushed me over the edge to play this (it's an ideal outcome for him to sacrifice to block this fake ENGS lane and then hit the JINN lane). I doubted NIMS, confusing it with MIM which doesn't take an S. NIMS/JINS is also fine here.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ??DEIOU 3F .IDEOUts +74 218
#note I made sure not to spend too much time this turn. Didn't spot TOLUIDINE.
>Jackson_Smylie: EGIMNSS J5 MESSING +75 245
#note I laid down MESSING/HIDEOUtsS first!
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EIOOPTZ 6B ZI. +43 261
>Jackson_Smylie: AGMRRVY 5J .ARVY +26 271
#note no idea here, I might need to be more aggressive though. I played MARVY over GRAVY cause I want to keep more space open - GRAVY lets him score decently while totally exhausting the bottom right quadrant, and that will leave me having to outscore to win, and that's not a pretty option with GMR and a 40ish point deficit. MARVY wins a sim regularly, but given the 30 point spread deficit I think V(I)RGA isn't actually crazy. I was about to play VIRGA during the game, cause it sets up an E hook and goes for ME(R)RY 9c with an E draw. that sort of diversion could get me in firm command of the game. he could also not block and then I hit an H1 play with the Y that scores and opens a new lane. I think MARVY just doesn't quite make up the spread cap, and I need to be more aggressive with VIRGA.
