>Joshua_Sokol: ABELPPS 7H PAP +18 18
#note #knowledgemedium APP(U)LES or PAP(U)LES here, also BAP over PAP by 3 points! I was definitely focused on ABLE words too much here especially with no open A.

#note why did I think COBLED* was good, is it because of MOBLED?

#note uggh I missed EJID(O), that looks pretty mediocre as well. Gives back a lot though, so quackle doesn't like
>Norma_Lovett: ?ENOOTV 10H OVE.TONe +64 184
>Joshua_Sokol: CDDEJTT O7 DEJ.CT +48 145
#note almost drew into DEJECTED. Sim likes J(O)TTED since I have no realy options after DEJECT and there are a lot of extensions. Hoping I can beat her to those or that she misses them. #questionable
>Norma_Lovett: AENU C9 .UEAN +28 212
>Joshua_Sokol: DEKLOTT 2I DO.KET +30 175
#note maybe TO(C)KED (which I doubted) to induce a challenge. I realized shortly after playing this that LO(C)KET might actually be better as I retain the last D which goes a bit better with the pool and board. #tacticssmall
>Norma_Lovett: ERX 1M REX +34 246
>Joshua_Sokol: AAGLRTW 1H WAG +27 202
#note I didn't like how middling of a play this was at this stage. The G might be useful for DEJECTING, but actually the preference of the engine is to play 13M TWA and get rid of DEJECTS and DEJECT extensions. Otherwise 3M LAW which I missed seems good here. #questionable
>Norma_Lovett: EMNY 12A ME.NY +26 272
>Joshua_Sokol: AEFLRTU M9 F.ULER +26 228
#note I completely missed AR(M)FUL here, which is definitely optimal. I did this because things are starting to look dangerous and I'm ready to induce mistakes. This is #findinglarge way behind AR(M)FUL and 13J FERULA and even 13L TUFA but actually considering that I will likely get FOULERS* to fly or get a turn off of her playing it, I think this is correct. If she's 50% to lose a turn after FOULER, I'm right to play it, and/or if I'm somewhat likely to use the spot which I think I am (maybe 15-25% of the time or something).
>Norma_Lovett: EGIILSS 15M SEI +19 291
>Norma_Lovett: EGIILSS -- -19 272
#note foresight 20/20
>Joshua_Sokol: AHIIINT N6 HIT +19 247
#note sort of frustrated here. I could give her SEI/THIAMINS if I play A8 THIA(M)IN, I could play INTI(M)A though she probably can't use the M well, I could play L2 (K)I(V)A which aeems like a better waiting move than what I did. I dunno. This was annoying, I'm still in terrible shape.
>Norma_Lovett: III -III +0 272

>Norma_Lovett: BGHOOTW M6 OH +25 297
>Joshua_Sokol: AAEINOW O7 ......ION +54 331
#note still very unhappy about my position, as she seems very close to a bingo and I don't think I am likely to withstand that, but what else am I supposed to do?
>Norma_Lovett: EIILNRS 3C INLIERS +73 370
>Joshua_Sokol: AABEISW L12 AWE +23 354
#note could not find anything that won other than when the S was in the bag, unless she somehow misses my out-bingo and I fish successfully for BEWAILS. Quite dissatisfying. This doesn't even work if she sees GLOAT 2B or AGLOO G11. Humph.
>Norma_Lovett: GGLOOST 14A LOST +34 404
#note I thought I was lost here, until she played this
>Joshua_Sokol: AABIS 2B ABA +16 370
#note this is a terrible mistake, as she has allowed me to not only prevent her from going out next turn, but also to score 44 points with MINIMALS, which she doubts the validity of. She figured if I played SI now, she could go out with GONG and let MINIMALS stand, but she didn't know that she was winning even if I blocked. Luckily she has just enough to withstand my sequence. I played this like Nigel would, which is very frustrating. I figured she was just as likely to play GO/G(AN) as she was to miss (N)OGG if I played ABA E2. But G(AN)G is so easy to see that I need to just hope she misses NOGG I think. I bet I would have won if I played E2 ABA but I was too scared she would just go out and I would be making this whole banter about how I should have played ABA 2B and hoped she didn't score well next turn. Ugh. So close.
>Norma_Lovett: GGO D1 G..G +16 420
#note even 2F GO is enough.
