#title 2019 NSC Round CSW31
#description Jesse Day plays Austin Shin in Round CSW31 at the 2019 NSC
>Jesse: BELNNOU 8B UNNOBLE +70 70
>Austin: HILOOTW 9E WOOL +22 22
>Jesse: MOOPUUV 7B MOUP +26 96
#note Jesse forgot to hit his clock after MOUP. JD: The clock used in the final had defective buttons. I could take the points for POMO here, but this is just as good with much less disaster potential.
>Austin: ?EGHITT 10H TIGHTEr +67 89
>Jesse: AAGOOUV -AAGOOUV +0 96
#note nothing worth playing here. OUTGO sims even.
>Austin: DEEFINP L8 FE.ID +26 115
>Jesse: AENRSTU 11B NATURES +68 164
>Austin: ?EEGNOP M2 EPiGONE +75 190
>Jesse: EGISSWZ 2J WIZ.S +50 214
>Austin: AEFHITY 1G HIYA +35 225
>Jesse: AEGKOSX N5 OX +53 267
#note didn't think of OXES here, which sims a point better. there is no spot for the S at the moment on the board, which makes it potentially worth cashing for 10 more points even though only one more S remains.
>Austin: ADEFITV 4L F.VE +33 258
>Jesse: AEGKNOS 12A KAGO +37 304
>Austin: ACDIIIT A12 .AID +27 285
>Austin: ACIINTY (challenge) +5 290
>Jesse: EIINRRS B5 RI.. +8 312
#note INFERE is a lot more points, but there really aren't a lot of good tiles left in the bag, which puts a premium on keeping a good leave. I picked RIMU instead of RAGI in order to keep row 13 open, because my bingos won't always go down on row 2 or 3. Indeed, RIMU improves my bingo % by about 5%, but at the cost of opening column A for scoring plays, which makes RAGI preferable. Another choice is FENI keeping EIRRS for 13 more. Considering the game situation, Austin has been grooming his rack for 3 turns and just played off ADI, suggesting a potent leave - so I felt urgency to bingo first before he blocks up rows 2 and 3. In reality his leave after KAID was much weaker than I would've thought. All in all I might pick FENI.
>Austin: ACIINTY O6 YIN +31 321
>Jesse: EINORRS 13D ROSINER +62 374
>Jesse: ACDERTU (challenge) +5 379
>Austin: AACISTV 10A VAC +21 342
>Jesse: ACDERTU 2A TRADUCE +87 466
>Austin: AAILQST 3I QAT +30 372
>Jesse: DEEEJMT A4 JET +22 488
#note due to the earlier clock malfunction, I had limited time to play this pre-endgame correctly. The biggest priority here is to figure out whether he has any out-bingos. I rechecked my tracking and saw that he was close to DIRTBALL, but that's it, so I'm just playing for spread (as long as I don't give him a spot for a bingo!). This is about as good as I can do, but JEFE at 8J leaving DEEMT actually threatens a few more outs.
>Austin: AABILRS K9 B.AIS +39 411
>Jesse: DEELM 1A EEL +19 507
#note time. DEME at 14G.
>Austin: ALR 14C LAR +9 420
>Austin: (DM) +10 430
