#player1 Steve Steve
#player2 Trenton Trenton
>Steve: BEELPTY 8D BLYPE +30 30
#note Two things. 1. This is the best play. 2. You will see relatively very little of that, on my part, from here on out.

I will also note here that you will see Trenton's actual racks, as he shared them with me afterwards.
>Trenton: EFGIITU E5 GUI.E +12 12
#note E4 FUTI(L)E is best.
>Steve: AEOTUVW H1 OUTWEAV. +104 134
>Steve: AEOTUVW -- -104 30
#note The first critical error was taking a flyer on this phony. Best is the workmanlike UVEA at D2.
>Trenton: AEEFIRT 9G IF +16 28
#note Missed bingo: FI(G)EATER.

Also of note, Trenton chooses to keep a duplicate E, rather than the I. It's understandable, given the difficulty created should he draw a duplicate i. But the leave evaluator on C-T tells us this is almost a three-point error in equity (11.3 to 8.5).
>Steve: AEOTUVW 10F VAT +25 55
#note The right idea, but I should throw the U on the end and play VATU. Going right back to the Leave Evaluator says the equity cost is a whopping 10.8 points, and takes a leave worth minus 6.5 to a negative 17.3. Folks, the U and W do not work well together.
>Trenton: AEEOQRT 6D Q.ORATE +20 48
>Steve: DEJLOUW - +0 55
#note Lost challenge.
I couldn't ever recall seeing QUORATE played, and challenged it rather quickly. BIG MISTAKE. The correct play is JOUL(E) or JOWL(E)D.
>Trenton: EEHILOO 5G OLIO +12 60
>Steve: DEJLOUW 4J JOWLED +48 103
>Trenton: ADEEHSY N2 EY.SHADE +96 156
#note Nice find
>Steve: DFIOSUW O7 DOW +38 141
#note Best
>Trenton: EIIORRS M2 RO.E +22 178
#note O1 IRE(D) scores the same and has a better leave.
>Steve: AFINOSU I9 FUN +30 171
#note I saw the right play - FUSION M9 - and opted to get cute and open the board. Another huge mistake.
>Trenton: EIIMRSX M9 MIXER +45 223
#note Quackle deems the MIRES leave to be strong enough that it sacrifices 15 points and plays XI in the top right corner.
>Steve: AHILNOS L10 LAH +33 204
#note Q says just OH here. The leave would be NAILS.
>Trenton: AIMNRST 12C MARTINS +77 300
>Steve: IINORSU 13A UNI +14 218
#note Desparate times.
>Trenton: EGKPRTU A12 K.RU +39 339
>Steve: AEIOORS L4 .OO +9 227
>Trenton: ?DEGNPT 11K P.. +24 363
#note Best
>Steve: ACEIRST 14H RACIEST +95 322
#note Perhaps I still have a chance.
>Trenton: ?ADEGNT 15C TANGlED +86 449
#note I have no chance.

AGeNTED gets a few more points, but this gets the job done.
>Steve: ACENSVZ 11D ZA +37 359
>Trenton: ?BGIINT 13E BIN +16 465
>Steve: ACEENSV 2K VA..C +10 369
>Trenton: ?GIT 14A .aT +12 477
>Steve: EENS 9C NE. +8 377
#note Throwing the S on EYESHADE is best. The prettiest play is (A)S(WOO)N.
>Trenton: GI 13M .IG +6 483
#note Nicely played game by Trenton.
>Trenton: (ES) +4 487
