#player2 Johnny_Utah Johnny Utah
>The_Vinegar_Man!: EESVX 8D VEXES +38 38
#note Game 3 of the 2019 Indianapolis tournament. This is not a double posting of the last game. This is another game been Marty and me.
>Johnny_Utah: AEELOTT 7E TOEA +21 21
>Johnny_Utah: AEELOTT -- -21 0
#note Are playing AGOUTIE* and missing LACTONE more embarassing than this? When I do game 8, you can be the judge. 3 embarassing moments of this caliber in 8 games is pretty bad.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: JNO G7 J.ON +20 58
#note No floaters I can bingo through.
>Johnny_Utah: AEELOTT H10 OLEATE +23 23
#note Best play!
>The_Vinegar_Man!: ADEEILN 14C LINEA.ED +65 123
#note Best along with DATELINE.
>Johnny_Utah: ?ENOQTU J7 uNQUOTE. +69 92
#note 15H ELOQUENT for 105! This was an anagramming goof for sure. -36.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: DFGHIIS - +0 123
#note Marty unsucessfully challenges so it works out. He confused it with REQUOTED*.
>Johnny_Utah: ABCINOS 8A CON..... +60 152
#note BONACIS is still better than this. Once again, my suboptimal play worked out.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: DFGHIIS - +0 123
#note Marty unsuccessfully challenges again. He said he wondered about this extension when he first played VEXES.
>Johnny_Utah: AABHIST C2 HABITA.S +80 232
#note Best play! One of my best finds of the tournament along with RAILHEAD in Game 5.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: GRZ D12 GR.Z +48 171
>Johnny_Utah: ?DFMPRU 13G F.M. +32 264
#note I whiffed hard on PeFUMED E2 for 80. I definitely would play that if I saw it. -18.9
>The_Vinegar_Man!: CEIN D1 CINE +33 204
>Johnny_Utah: ?DDEOPU 15A aDO.E +46 310
#note Now I miss A3 PRODUCED and chicken out out on 1D COUPED. My play does have defensive merit though since that Z spot could be worth 60. Probably too paranoid.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: AW B2 AW +28 232
>Johnny_Utah: BDLPPUV E4 DUPL. +22 332
#note All of the play candidates are terrible but this along with UPPED, and LUVED seem similar.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: EITU 1D .UTIE +21 253
>Johnny_Utah: BFIPRUV 2H FUB +19 351
#note I like the defense of this play. It's very hard for me to lose after this.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: ADW K11 WAD +37 290
>Johnny_Utah: IMPRSTV K5 VIM +19 370
#note Best play!
>The_Vinegar_Man!: AO D7 A.O +11 301
>Johnny_Utah: IINPRST L7 SPRINT +38 408
#note I think this clinches it. No use hanging onto the S here.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: AAGILR 1J ARGALI +31 332
>Johnny_Utah: EHIIRRR 2M HI +19 427
#note Somehow this is best?
>The_Vinegar_Man!: KOY 8L .OKY +39 371
>Johnny_Utah: EEIRRRY N8 .EY +18 445
#note I saw KEYER and REKEY right after hitting my clock. I was 35 seconds over at this point.
>The_Vinegar_Man!: GOST 3I TOGS +14 385
#note Best play!
>The_Vinegar_Man!: (IRRER) +10 395
#note Final score 435-395 because I lost 10 points on time. This game was very inconsistent. Great plays in spots mixed with horrible ones. I drew well enough to paper over the mistakes but I could have done a lot of things better here.
