#player2 Matthew_Larocque Matthew Larocque
>Martin_Weisskopf: CHIN 8F CHIN +18 18
>Matthew_Larocque: EPRV J7 PERV +27 27
#note Didn't write down my first rack.
>Martin_Weisskopf: IUUUU -IUUUU +0 18
>Matthew_Larocque: CEEILRS 11D CEILERS +78 105
#note Even after I saw this, I thought I was making it up. I was sure there was a bingo here though... so it had to be it.
>Martin_Weisskopf: ILS - +0 18
#note I guess because I looked so utterly confused, he challenged right away.
>Matthew_Larocque: DEEIKOR 10E OKE +37 142
>Martin_Weisskopf: ILS K6 LIS +18 36
>Matthew_Larocque: ADEIRUY D11 .AURY +28 170
#note I was 90% sure this wasn't good, but because of similar words KAURY/KAURI/CAURI, it looks innocent enough. The alternative was EYRIE keeping ADU.
>Martin_Weisskopf: AELOPRS L1 PELORAS +81 117
>Martin_Weisskopf: AELOPRS -- -81 36
#note The valid words don't play either. He said he only saw REPOSAL.
>Matthew_Larocque: DEFIILN 14B FI.ED +26 196
#note I was iffy on what to do here, but decided that YIELD allows him to score with the P. Same thing with DEFY, and I didn't want to give him open letters that I'm forced to block. Didn't see ELFIN in game. I might have missed FLEY.

I did ~3000 iterations 4 plies with the REPOSAL rack. FIRED appears to be best, followed by FLEY.
>Martin_Weisskopf: AELOPRS 15F OPA +18 54
>Matthew_Larocque: DILNOTT I13 DOL +12 208
#note I need to disrupt this somehow, although perhaps 14H DOLT is reasonable, to help my leave in the process.
>Martin_Weisskopf: BEGLRS 14H B.G +14 68
>Matthew_Larocque: AEINRTT L1 INTREAT +73 281
#note This is a no-brainer, to go up by over 200 points...
>Martin_Weisskopf: EILRSTU 1H UTIL.SER +122 190
#note Clearly it was all part of the plan.
>Matthew_Larocque: EEIMOQR 2L .OME +24 305
#note And there's still blanks to come.
>Martin_Weisskopf: INY M7 YIN +24 214
>Matthew_Larocque: EFIIQRZ 2I IF +28 333
#note I think I rejected FEZ? I had to have seen it. I could also play 13A QI. It sets up another IF spot in that corner.
>Martin_Weisskopf: AMN 15A MAN. +34 248
#note And prevents that.
>Matthew_Larocque: EGIOQRZ 3F GRIZ +47 380
#note This is the last I, so should I have considered REZ? I figured I'd exchange the Q if it got to that point.
>Martin_Weisskopf: UUV -UUV +0 248
>Matthew_Larocque: BEEOOQU F3 .OBO +9 389
#note Maybe L9 OBOE. I wanted to avoid setting up hotspots with the X and such looming.
>Martin_Weisskopf: ?AADEGO 5A GOADA.lE +72 320
>Martin_Weisskopf: ?AADEGO -- -72 248
#note Plausible I guess, but it seemed like a desperation play with a mediocre rack. Note that this is his fifth turn scoring zero. If there was ever a game to make up some ground on spread, this was it.
>Matthew_Larocque: EEEHQUX 3L .HE +29 418
#note I must have missed THEE.
>Martin_Weisskopf: ?AADEGO E4 DAG +24 272
>Matthew_Larocque: EEQSUWX N8 SUQ +36 454
#note Or N9/L9 EQUES says Quackle, but I don't think so. I only added 26 to my score?
>Martin_Weisskopf: ?AEOTTU D3 OUTEATs +81 353
#note All part of the plan.
>Matthew_Larocque: ?AEENWX 8A WEN. +21 475
#note I don't know what my plan was here, but obviously I didn't see NEXT.
>Martin_Weisskopf: DJNOTVW 13C J.T +42 395
>Matthew_Larocque: ?AAAEX 7G AX +25 500
#note EXAM/ISM
>Martin_Weisskopf: DNOVW C1 VOW +28 423
>Matthew_Larocque: ?AAE A7 A.ArE +7 507
#note ADAGE
>Matthew_Larocque: (DN) +6 513
#note -10 on time, plus math errors leaves me at 492. A win is a win, but after this game I had zero hope that my spread would do me any favours this tournament.
