>Alec: AFLNOOX 8H ALOOF +24 24
>Thomas: EFOUW I3 WOEFU. +17 17
>Alec: DIMNORX 7I .NMIX +33 57
#note H5 MOXA blocks the H1-H4 hotspot, and DINR > DOR by more than I expected. #findingsmall
>Thomas: EITU N6 ETUI +21 38
>Alec: BDNNORU O1 UNBORN +29 86
#note Quackle picks M9 BOUND, because NR > D; I misevaluated the leaves. #strategysmall
>Thomas: APRY H1 PRAY +53 91
#note I wish I had seen MOXA.
>Alec: ?CDDESS 5E CESS.D +28 114
#note 3G DAWS sacrifices 18 points, yet it has the best chance of a bingo next turn, and thus it is best. #strategysmall
>Thomas: IQ M9 QI +42 133
>Alec: ?ACDHIO E5 .AtHODIC +80 194
>Thomas: ALYZ L10 LAZY +34 167
>Alec: AGGHOTV F4 V.GA +20 214
>Thomas: EIKNR 12C NI.KER +26 193
>Alec: AGHIOST B7 GOATISH +76 290
>Thomas: ?AANORT 2A NArRATO. +68 261
>Alec: AELORRS A5 REAL +21 311
#note I chose REAL over ORAL because there were 7 E's unseen and no O's. But I did not consider what the benefit of keeping the O would be, and now that I am considering it I don't see any significant benefit; EE > EO, and even triplicate E's are fine. I should just play ORAL. Quackle prefers C12 NOR but that's ridiculous with IIIM unseen. #strategymedium
>Thomas: EELW 3B WEEL +25 286
>Alec: DIMOPRS H8 .IRD.OP +10 321
#note I decided to have some fun here and set up my case S in the most obvious way possible. Quackle doesn't consider this (Championship Player picks O8 PSI), but AIRDROP handily wins the sim. Of course, Thomas will block much more often than the sim expects; a B, D, or G at I15 will effectively kill the hotspot. But there are many racks Thomas can have that fail to block effectively or force a large point sacrifice, which is what I was banking on.
>Thomas: DEGIIV I13 DIG +16 302
#note Thomas told me he had to pass up on 1A IVIED 55!
>Alec: EEEJMST J10 JETES +41 362
#note But the sacrifice was worth it, as (alas) my 93-point JETES was blocked. Quackle picks 1A EME, blocking 1A and ensuring that my M scores well while saving D6 JEST or J10 JETS. #tacticsmedium
>Thomas: BEEINTV 1A EVE +35 337
#note C9 BENNET or BENNI is best. (-18)
>Alec: EMTU 13B .ET +18 380
#note HET is better than HUT because of B(HUT).
>Thomas: BINT K11 TI +22 359
>Alec: MU 13L .UM +16 396
>Alec: (BN) +8 404
