#note pretty cool, LUV sims better even though it scores 20 less! I thought it would be close - LUV takes out the JANES hook and gives back almost no way to score. CUZ does block some 8s though.

#note oof, lost a boatload of equity by not knowing DEVVEL#!
>Cesar: FIIMORT L1 FOMIT. +30 99
>JD: EIILOOV 1L .ILO +21 168
#note I decided that EIOV would be able to score much better next turn than ILOO - I was right, but it's definitely not 9 points better, more like 5-6.
>Cesar: AIRRRRT -EGHI +0 99
#note i saw TARRIER but it seemed dumb to block up a couple of (bad) lanes. however, 10 pts is 10 pts. i should just take the points, right? what do you think? -7 #strategymedium

#note the idea of WAFTER is that both blanks are still out, and I really want to turn tiles over to try to snag one. I thought about NU at N13, but I'm not up enough to pull that kind of move. However I can still go much safer than this and drope WIFE at 4K which gives back nothing more.
>Cesar: ?EEHRST 11E fRESHET +95 238
#note I'm so damn lazy. i saw sherbet, and freshet, then i thought hey freshet looks cooler, so i laid it down, then halfway to hitting the clock i realized sherbet is better positionally, but i couldn't be arsed to change it!! wtf? come on cesar! -2 #tacticssmall
>JD: AGINNSU H11 .UN +4 218
#note I wasn't a huge fan of a play like SUING, after which Cesar can just play across on row 13 and row 14, and I'll be chasing him the rest of the game, likely needing to get lucky to win.
>Cesar: ?DEHISX 14H SIX +30 268
#note his actual rack...ouch cesar: i don't understand how i can chicken out on oxhides yet lay down an idiotic "lifesize" in another game, despite that word not looking study familiar. it's so crazy how i can constantly have brainfart turns that make no sense. at least the way i rationalized it might make a little sense: i spotted the word immediately, it looked familiar, but not so familiar that i could be 100% sure of it. i laid down 13G INDEX, then i thought, well, but it doesn't block the S hook, so i should block that. going up nearly a bingo score with the blank in hand, even if i'm a big chicken, i should still win a large % of the time. but this is so so so so bad, i guess i do have to constantly study. -31.5 #knowledgelarge
>JD: AGIINOS 10E IO +10 228
#note sets up my rack perfectly with a tough-to-block GIO hook
>Cesar: ?DEHLRR 4K H.DER +23 291
#note instantly punished for my chickenshit play. i have him on the G now, but i can't do anything about it.

#note wow should i play 15I CiNQ? lol, it does sim best.
>JD: ABEINOT 12B ABO +25 334
#note what the...why does OBA sim better than ABO?! I guess the idea is that he hooks SOBA and then opens a bingo lane for me?!? doesn't seem real
>Cesar: ?AKNOQR B10 KN... +22 335
#note at least i found this.
>JD: DEGINOT 2N OD +19 353
#note his last play strongly suggests that he has the Q and he's trying to set up QI at C9. He also might have wanted to turn over more tiles if he didn't already have the blank. The question is, is QI something I should be trying to block? After OD and then QI, I'm down 8 and can out-in-two to win as long as he didn't draw an out - unlikely, since he'll have 6 tiles. My tiles fit nicely at 15I, which seemed like it would allow me to go out first. I also made a fishing play here allowing me to draw a GIO bingo, which isn't relevant if he blocks the lane with QI. However, It is good insurance in case he decides to try to score with an OK play. I can also play DEVELED because GINOT might draw more bingos here, but it also tends to make it tougher to win on spread in the endgame!
>Cesar: ?AIOPQR C9 QI +27 362
#note quackle CP is broken and says that QI wins 100% of the time. i should have spotted QuIPO but if i play that i lose.
>JD: EGINRTU 15I TUNG +19 372
#note he didn't draw an out so I win!
>Cesar: ?AAOPR A6 PROAs +24 386
