#note I honestly believe this is the best play here. Sid's slaughtering my range, but I have some scoring hope: however the J really isn't ever gonna be a good tile. Leaving that G open forever seems pretty bad, but the W is decent here as is the Q, and I really don't mind getting into a closed board war against Sid.

It's just hard to pass up the points, especially since I might be able to survive some bingos after JIGGERS or even hit one myself, and VERGERS just gets outrun sometimes. I'd probably play this again, though that might be results-oriented.

This is a really ugly spot obviously: I'm pretty sure I'm up against ?S here a lot, but the saving grace is he probably only has one vowel when he plays this a lot of the time. He probably doesn't have the B (or else NUB) and while I'd love to block the Y as well, I couldn't find a way to do this.
