>Lucie_McPhail: EFN 9C FEN +15 15
>Christopher_Sykes: EFGLOOT E3 FOOTL..G +24 46
#note There are better plays but this was fun. I thought it was an adjective, too. Oops. 10D or 7B GOOF are better.
>Lucie_McPhail: BGI D2 GIB +25 40
>Christopher_Sykes: BEEQUVW 3C W..E +20 66
#note 9H WEB gets close to a good rack. Quackle likes H7 WAVE for only 10 points.
>Lucie_McPhail: EELT C9 .LEET +16 56
>Christopher_Sykes: ABEPQUV 2F PAVE +25 91
#note 12A VEEP is a better leave due to keeping the A to go with QU.
>Lucie_McPhail: COO 7B COO. +11 67
>Christopher_Sykes: ABEIOQU 2A QUA. +33 124
>Lucie_McPhail: INPRT B11 PRINT +22 89
>Christopher_Sykes: BCEIOUY 15A E.IC +27 151
#note G1 BAYOU is nice but I wanted to make row 15 safe first.
>Lucie_McPhail: LSY 11E SLY +38 127
>Christopher_Sykes: ABELOUY - +0 151
#note Challenged FOOTLONGS. I should have thought about it from a "makes sense" angle instead of just trying to remember whether I saw the hook in study. My peers seem rightly surprised that I challenged as they quickly explained to this former Brit was a footlong is. This was my "one in ten" goofy play.
>Lucie_McPhail: ADIO H1 A.OID +30 157
>Christopher_Sykes: ABELOUY A1 E.UAL +45 196
>Lucie_McPhail: DEEIMRT J2 DEMERIT +81 238
>Christopher_Sykes: BNOSUWY I1 Y.W +28 224
#note K3 WYN is cute. NEWSY at I1 is cuter! WYN seems best (I missed it), but I kinda like keeping that N.
>Lucie_McPhail: NU 9G UN +10 248
>Christopher_Sykes: BINOSSU K3 SUN +21 245
#note Saw TSUBOS but it burns both S's and there are 2 blanks unseen, so I do not want to open the board. Quackle really liked tsubos.
>Lucie_McPhail: EX I6 EX +36 284
>Christopher_Sykes: BIJORSS A8 BRIO +23 268
#note Not thrilled with my options. This was a hit and hope.
>Lucie_McPhail: Z 12B ..Z +24 308
>Christopher_Sykes: AEHJSST G4 HAJ +21 289
#note That last draw really helped my situation. Didn't see 10H TAJ, tho my play may be argued to have a better leave. Quackle likes TAJ or TAJES over HAJ.
>Lucie_McPhail: AEI -AEI +0 308
>Christopher_Sykes: ERRSSTT K7 SETT +16 305
#note Lucie exchanged 3, greatly improving my odds. My vowel dearth may be due to her having many vowels, but I don't know what she threw in. I wanted to keep that last S, even though SETTS makes it really hard for her to bingo.
>Lucie_McPhail: IKN L10 INK +16 324
>Christopher_Sykes: ?DORRSV M4 DROVeRS +68 373
#note Played for fewer points to leave fewer bingo chances for Lucie.
>Lucie_McPhail: EH N5 EH +28 352
>Christopher_Sykes: ?AI 13A l..AI +15 388
#note And I got the last blank! This was a very losable game, I feel like I just caught a big break near the end with her exchange and my getting both blanks.
>Christopher_Sykes: (AAINR) +10 398
