>Kenji: ACEOTUZ 8G CUZ +28 28
#note Considered COTEAU 8g here.
>Will: ADILLTY 9H TALLY +23 23
#note TALLY isn't really a dramatic enough fork to do over just I6 LAZY; a play to the triple after TALLY leaves a horrendous board for scoring if I don't hit a bingo, and hitting one isn't very likely. That being said, LAZY can get me fenced in pretty much immediately as well. Tough spot. I think LAZY is better. #strategysmall
>Kenji: AAEEEOT K8 O.EATE +12 40
#note While this backfired on me pretty hard, I do stand by this line. AEET just doesn't do too well, TALLY has a pretty random range, and I can't just be afraid all game. Extending to the bottom of the board quickly while Will's range is random is also a plus.

>Kenji: ?IINOPX L6 PIX. +41 162
>Will: DEHIORS M7 DO +20 156
#note Generated a lot of options here. For some reason I seemed to be reluctant to just play OXIDE. Sim likes 11B OH, but I don't, since it blocks UTS and incentivizes Kenji to block SOH at all costs, leaving me with much more difficult lanes to hit. I didn't generate 9H TALLYHO which looks stronger than DO solely on the basis of the RIDES leave hitting so much more than HIRES. Also thought of N10 HORDE, 14B DEHORS, and a few other things. Ultimately OXIDE is just too many more points not to play, but the idea of making more S hooks that can't ever really be usefully addressed was very appealing. #strategymedium
>Kenji: ?GINNOU A13 .UG +21 183
#note Quackle prefers GNU, but I honestly have to stick to my play, as horribly as this turned out. INNO? hits quite a bit and Will's range is pretty strong and needs to be respected, and giving him row 15 with any bingo starting with MHNST does not feel like a good idea. It's true that I'm never gonna be able to kill this board, but I can create an advantageous position and I really want to be able to be up a tempo against Will on a board like this.
>Will: EHIKNRS 15A .HERKINS +101 257
#note This was so sick, I could barely believe it.
>Kenji: ?EEINNO G1 NEOtENI. +61 244
#note I said up a tempo, not down a tempo. I think this level of aggression is necessary here, as row 10 bingos just get killed, and column n is just too easy to block, and Will's up enough to sacrifice points to do it if need be.
>Will: AAEIOTU 1D ATO.IA +21 278
>Kenji: ADGNNTW 2F W.ND +34 278
#note Has to be WEND over GNAWED here.
>Will: EEJMRTU K4 JEU +24 302
#note Not terribly inspiring, but the other JEU at E11 and 2A JUTE didn't seem any better. If Kenji had had an O last turn he might've been more apt to play OWED 2E or something longer. When I draw a bingo after my play I'm probably rooting for him to have an O and play it there anyway.
>Kenji: AABGNRT 10F BRAG +29 307
>Will: EELMRST N1 REMELTS +76 378
>Kenji: AINOQTY 11A TOY +21 328
#note This is probably a bit of just anger and tilt, which I was definitely feeling at this point, because this game is obviously in rough shape and this has been a pretty rough day, and it never feels good to draw both blanks and lose. That being said, this is just too conservative. Yes, this cuts spread pretty well, and at least I didn't do something braindead like QI f14, but I really needed a more agressive option since this rarely wins. It honestly might be YO 11a, shooting at QUANTIFY and QUANTITY which will actually win if I hit them. I can also hit QAIDS/QINDAR and then bingo in a, since that additional lane makes this closable. This cuts spread, but honestly, that shouldn't be the goal right now. I gotta take my 3-4% winning chances here.
>Will: CFGORTU 1L CO.F +36 414
#note I wonder if there was a way to read a fish for QAIDS from TOY and play CURF instead of CORF; there was J5 OY available, but TOY might've been necessary to open up -ST possibilities.
>Kenji: ABEINQS N10 QAI.S +70 398
>Will: DGINRTU D1 .NTIDRUG +74 488
#note Absurd luck again, this happens so much.
>Kenji: ABEFINS O8 FAIN +34 432
#note Look self: I get that you're upset. This has been a pretty rough game and day. But you simply have to find FIBRANNES, or at least look for it, rather than simply autopilot Will's endgame. It doesn't win, but spread is important, and this is a LOT of spread you gave away. This is the downside of being too emotional, and that was definitely the case here for me here.
