>Christopher_Sykes: CDEFINT 8D FIEND +26 26
#note One of those racks where you prefer to go second, but 26 seems too much to deny oneself for a fish (e.g. exchange F or FC or FD). However, 8H INFECT need only draw an E for INFECTED on the triple. Quackle like exchange F, then INFECT, then my play.
>Petronella_Read: AEENSTU H1 UNSEATE. +80 80
>Christopher_Sykes: CMOOTWY E4 MYOT.C +26 52
#note Quackle likes YOW, MOW, or TOW at I5, then some others before it gets to MYOTIC, but I like how MYOTIC blocks several of the more likely bingo spots while setting up OW, clearing my poorish rack in two plays for reasonable points while limiting scoring options. I can catch up to her bingo later. Having said that, I kind of like MOW leaving the somewhat synergetic COTY letters. I did not consider I5 plays at the time.

>Christopher_Sykes: EEORUWZ F5 EW +31 83
#note 7E TWEEZE 37 leaves me it's R hook, but there is a good chance she has one of the hooks too. I did not see it though.
>Petronella_Read: DEEER 3H .EEDER +16 124
>Christopher_Sykes: BEOPRUZ C3 PUB +29 112
#note ZEBU scores well and I have the P for a K5 follow up, and ROPE is a good leave, and it uses the main scoring spot of 2J plays to 2N. Had I seen ZEBU, I think I would have played it. PUB leaving ZERO seemed pretty good so fell for the good play stops great play trap.
>Petronella_Read: EQRU L1 QU.ER +48 172
>Christopher_Sykes: ?AEOORZ 2F ZO.A +35 147
#note B5 AZO seems like a pointless risk. K3 DOOZER has merit, like blocking the double double from K5, but it would mean picking 5 tiles vs 3 for ZONA. Picking more tiles means more chaos, meaning you can spoil your rack with a poor selection. The EOR? leave is less chaotic, so less likely to be ruined. Jim Nanavati taught me this chaos idea many years ago. Another aspect of the chaos idea is that when you throw in rubbish tiles, you pick from a cleaner pool and leave the rubbish for your opponent to pick. You have to find balance in these ideas.
>Petronella_Read: AHK 5J HA.K +22 194
#note K3 DHAK was better
>Christopher_Sykes: ?ELLOOR J5 .OLLOwER +62 209
#note The only bingo. No S hook. Had Petronella played DHAK then I would had MORELLO at M5 (giving her scoring chances using the O lane or 8 row).
>Petronella_Read: BG 11I B.G +12 206
#note The only bingo
>Christopher_Sykes: ANOORST 1L .ATS +39 248
#note N5 SANTOOR, which I missed. I was wondering about RATOONS anagrams but SANTOOR did not jump out for me this time.
>Petronella_Read: II -II +0 206
>Christopher_Sykes: ?CNOORW 8J .OW +10 258
#note I was stuck on this play. Quackle prefers I11 BOW, K3 DRAW, 12J ROW, K9 WOG, 7C WOT, 9I WOO, 9I WO, and K5 AW before my play. Why?
>Petronella_Read: IT 6M IT +10 216
>Christopher_Sykes: ?CLNOOR J1 OL. +21 279
#note Missed or unsure of NONCOLOR.
>Petronella_Read: AV 9C VA. +17 233
>Christopher_Sykes: ?ACNNOR O1 .CORN +8 287
#note With her IT play recently she may have S, so I wanted to preserve my narrow lead on this bingo averse board.

>Petronella_Read: IIII -IIII +0 286
>Christopher_Sykes: ?DHNTTU 6J .H +10 331
#note Maybe exchange here while the lost points are few, but the lead is so narrow that I am reluctant.
>Petronella_Read: IRY D8 ..IRY +22 308
>Christopher_Sykes: ?DNNTTU 11D .UNT +8 339
#note Two G's unseen, she is likely to have one. Maybe TURN makes more sense. Exchange is still an option.
>Petronella_Read: GOX C11 GOX +33 341
>Christopher_Sykes: ?DIILNT G11 .IL +4 343
#note Quackle likes 12J RID or 12G ID for Valuation, but TIL for Win %. Not sure what that means.
>Petronella_Read: ADG B12 GAD +26 367
#note Petronella asked me about playing GADS instead of GAD. I would have INEDITA to win still, but her idea has merit. She gave me a great game here, and I felt lucky to win.
