#player2 David_Teich David Teich
>Joshua_Sokol: ACILLPS H4 PALLIC +26 26
#note too tired to remember the real word in this. But why not possibly win a turn back later or pluralize my own phony?

PLICA is fine as well
>David_Teich: AMW I3 MAW +20 20
>Joshua_Sokol: AFLOSTV J4 LAV +25 51
#note TAV is better. I hope I see that now.
>David_Teich: ?EINSUY 7B UNEaSI.Y +66 86
>Joshua_Sokol: ACFOOST 8C OF +20 71
#note I wanted to accomplish something here but I decided this position was on the cusp of being OK even if I didn't do something to the board.
>David_Teich: EFIW F3 WIFE. +13 99
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEIOST E2 COTE +29 100
#note now I should be just fine. COATI is definitely not the right options here despite the better leave, since David's average score increases by 13 points as compared to the safer COTE.
>David_Teich: HMOT 9B MOTH +20 119
>Joshua_Sokol: AAINRSZ 9H .ZARINAS +80 180
>David_Teich: EJO O6 JOE. +33 152
>Joshua_Sokol: ADDIOQT 8L QI +44 224
#note oh how hard I wished for him to somehow leave everything open and let me play QADI for 104
>David_Teich: ABEHIRT M6 RE..HABIT +80 232
#note this was absolutely soul-crushing
>Joshua_Sokol: ADDEORT L11 DATED +33 257
#note he blocked my far less flashy ORD(IN)ATED and took the lead again. Really great find. I held for a while and then decided this had to be good.

Other options were worth considering here, but in the end points were there to be taken.
>David_Teich: AINSV 15H VIAN.S +45 277
#note my goodness he just doesn't stop
>Joshua_Sokol: LOPRRST 3C PR..L +22 279
>David_Teich: BE 14J BE.. +24 301
>Joshua_Sokol: DEGORST J8 D.GO +10 289
#note I can score 37 points here, but I don't know that it will be enough. The X is lurking, as is the blank. Gonna have to be very precise regardless of what happens. If I get my bingo down, he still gets the X and retains a small lead. I don't know how much recursion the S has in this position since I will only really ever have two spots for it. Quackle thinks I'll be playing my S a lot of the time I don't hit a bingo here, so I can't trust these results. Still, perhaps I have to take points.
>David_Teich: GINO E9 .ONGI +18 319
#note David's play this game really impressed me.
>Joshua_Sokol: EENRSTY K2 TREY +40 329
#note both bingos blocked by a very sharp board control play. I now need brute force to win this game. Quackle thinks I can get away with F10 and fish again. I think not. David will block.
>David_Teich: AENORTU B9 .ATURE +20 339
#note this appears to have been his rack. He can basically put me in a coffin with 11A UNOR(N)ATE. He first started to lay down (M)OUNTER, then this.
>Joshua_Sokol: ?EKNRSU F9 SKEiN +50 379
#note I fried my brain in this position. I'm trying to score well and threaten an outplay, which should be enough to win by a small margin. I could not however find a good play at 15A besides dRUNKS or dRUNK, dREK or dREKS just appeared to be a worse version of my play. I need that spot to threaten outs that David has to block and retain his X for a bomb the turn after. If I draw the X I probably win here, so I'm trying to play against when I don't have it. I'm open to suggestions here.
>David_Teich: DEINOUX 15B DUI +15 354
#note I saw UDON 15A as a possibility. Quackle says it ties. I thought it won. But I overscored CZARINAS by 1!!! After a recount we would have tied. Wow. This was also underscored by 1.
>Joshua_Sokol: EGORU L1 GOER +32 411
>David_Teich: ENOX A11 EXON +42 396
>David_Teich: (U) +2 398
#note recorded score 412-397
