#note CEIR just isn't good enough to do this. COPIER is better and exch O is probably best. The PIERCE leave hitting with EIU is a great start and tacking on DNRST (along with KP) puts it into strong leave status.

#note Leaving off R to maybe hook it myself.

#note BREAD scores enough points to be worth it by just a smidge. It sims extremely close with my play and J6 DOE.

#note Man, not good. Got my wires crossed - I think I was thinking of WENTS# and the fact that there's something unique to CSW about the ERSTW batch, so it had to have been this. Nope - it's the fact that TREW# can drop the S in CSW. The funny thing is that 2C INWARDS might just be better positionally anyway, making this especially egregious. Don't want to unnecessarily beat myself up over one bizarre lapse, but I was pretty steamed by this.

#note I might be glad for the L hook at some point. No wonderful option here.

#note I somehow find myself in a favorable position in the pre-endgame in spite of myself. I don't think I had much time, so much like in game 1 vs Noah, I made the determination that I would just grab points and create endgames that I would win every time unless Karen has an outbingo. However, if I had had more time to think about it, perhaps I would come up with a move like M11 FLIC, which drops Karen's bingo percentage precipitously, leaves one in the bag, and creates a place for me to follow up with FLICS for a large score in the endgame.
>Karen: ?FINRTU 14G R.FUTINg +76 432
#note It's easy to say - well, she had both REFUTING and O2 TURFING (which she wasn't positive of but would've tried if she had had to), so I was screwed regardless. But actually, I could've retained some winning chances even against this rack with the correct play of FLIC. If I had left the V in the bag drawing three of the four tiles left instead of emptying it with FUSC, she would draw it herself and I would simply block F1 PAV and stick her, easily winning. Left a lot of winning chances on the table this tournament, especially day 1.
