>Jeff_Fiszbein: AAMM 8G MAMA +16 16
>Jim_Burlant: BIIOSTV J6 VI. +14 14
#note Wasn't entirely sure of VIBIST, but this is definitely too much rack grooming. If I'm going to chicken out on VIBIST, I should be playing 9G OBIT. This is weak. (-6)
>Jeff_Fiszbein: EGO 9G EGO +19 35
>Jim_Burlant: ?BIOSTU 10B OUTBIdS +70 84
#note At least I get this right. This also plays at 10 and 10I for 65; this scores 70 and is best. 64% to win.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: BHNTUW B9 B.WHUNT +30 65
>Jim_Burlant: CDEEHOZ 12A C.EZ +42 126
#note I was mesmerized by the Z and didn't see ETCHED. ETCHED should have been the play' the Z should have waited.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: EIJ E8 JI.E +26 91
>Jim_Burlant: ACDEEHO 15A E.CHED +48 174
#note Better late than never. Just shy of 81% to win.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: AAILY A5 ALIYA +28 119
>Jim_Burlant: ADIOOSY B5 YOD +21 195
#note There are 5 plays that stand out atop a sim, and this is one of them. The others are 14E YO, 14D ADO, 14D OY, and 14D ODA. Equity-wise this is the best play; as win percentage goes, it gives up roughly 0.3% to 14D ADO. Truth be told, I don't know that I want to play on row 14; if he hits a bingo there, it will give me H15 counterplay, so that's the last thing I want to worry about. I'd rather restrict his options for 7's in the northwest to words ending in S.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: AFTT 14E FAT +18 137
#note Jeff said after the game he had duplicated T's on this rack.
>Jim_Burlant: ?AEIIOS H13 SEI +16 211
#note As poortly as this game is going for Jeff, he caught a huge break; as you can see, this rack wasn't exactly suited to this position. Since I have the blank, I figured I could sacrifice the S to make sure he didn't come back with something like KEEF or WEED at H12. Fortunately for me, there's no real standout play per se. Any of the top 6 plays (this sims 3rd) wins within 0.5% and 3.5 equity of each other. This is the second highest equity play and it wins 92.65%. Best is apparently g1 LOOIE for 5. Given the situation, I'd make this play again.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: ENR 7H RE.N +16 153
>Jim_Burlant: ?AIOQST I12 QI +15 226
#note Interesting sim result - G12 QAT and C3 QIS are indistinguishable atop the sim; this is the bronze medalist. Win percentage is more or less the same to those two plays, but I take a 5-point equity hit on this. For reasons that make no sense to me now and I won't attempt to jusitfy, I somehow thought this was better than QAT. If I was going to preserve the S, I should have played QAT G12 instead of this. But it didn't matter at all in this game.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: AV C8 VA. +13 166
>Jim_Burlant: ?AKOSTU L3 OUTASKs +85 311
#note L2 OUTTASK is slightly better. 99.5% to win, however.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: OPX M1 POX +42 208
>Jim_Burlant: DEEGINT 1M .EG +18 329
#note Just moving tiles to make sure nothing gets away from me. 1K TEPID wins the sim, and otherwise if I want to take out row 1 it's this, PET, or PED.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: ERRU C3 RUER +17 225
>Jim_Burlant: ADEINTW J10 WAIN +29 358
#note I should really just play off as many tiles as I can here; WAITED or TWINED is probably best. For reasons that, again, make no sense to me now, I didn't want to give him easy comebacks to O15.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: OR N3 OR +12 237
>Jim_Burlant: DEEGLLT 8L .ELT +24 382
#note Blocking easy 7's.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: N 13B .N +8 245
>Jim_Burlant: DEFGLPR 13H ...GLED +18 400
#note No direct means of playing down the M, N, or O columns, so take them out this way.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: D 11J .D +6 251
>Jim_Burlant: FIINPRS N10 FIN.S +34 434
>Jeff_Fiszbein: AEINORT 2A RATION +21 272
>Jim_Burlant: LOPR A1 P.O +15 449
#note E2 ORLOP goes out. And OP 1A scores 22 to this play's 15. Lame. B-/C+ effort on my end, with a few good plays but lots of sloppiness and questionable decisions.
>Jeff_Fiszbein: E 10M E. +5 277
>Jeff_Fiszbein: (LR) +4 281
