Player 1
#player1 Avery Avery
#player2 Paul Paul
>Avery: ALRRSSX H7 RAX +20 20
#note If I win this game, I break 2100 and pass Mack and Will in the standings. If I don't, I still have a net rating gain for the weekend. Paul is very overdue for a win.
>Paul: AIKM G8 KAMI +27 27
>Avery: AAILRSS F9 LA +20 40
#note Considered SAL in the same spot, but I didn't want to telegraph my S's.
>Paul: EMOU I4 MOUE +10 37
>Avery: AINPRSS 11D ASP.RINS +95 135
>Paul: AEFZ H1 FAZE +56 93
>Avery: ?DEEIUW 12A WIDE +28 163
#note 5H DOWIE is way better. Autopiloted.
>Paul: VV 2G V.V +9 102
>Avery: ??EITUU K5 UnIqUE.T +62 225

>Avery: CEHIIRU 15L HUIC +48 413
>Paul: ABN 13F NAB +19 217
>Avery: EGINRST 13L RIG +14 427
#note I have the case S, so I went for broke. Maybe REG is a little better to save -ING possibilities, and since there's 6 E's unseen?
>Paul: AQT L3 QAT +26 243
>Avery: DDENRST M4 TEND +12 439
#note Blocking -ING now.
>Paul: OY 14B .OY +14 257
>Avery: DHNOPRS 10I HO.D +19 458
#note Still don't see the FAZED spot, and missed RONDO.
>Paul: OOT N6 OOT +12 269
>Avery: EENPRSY O5 PREEN +34 492
#note Drew the bingo one turn too late. I can just go ahead and play SEEPY here, no need to save the S.
>Paul: CEFL E6 CLEF +23 292
>Avery: EEGISWY N2 WYE +21 513
#note Best endgame by a lot. I drew relentlessly well against Paul this weekend.
>Paul: BEIN N10 BIN. +13 305
>Avery: EGIS 8A SIEG. +24 537
#note Made a lot of small mistakes this tournament (aside from things like DEARIEST, OUTGASES, etc), but a lot of that was likely just due to fatigue from playing 14 tournament games after finals week. I drew relentlessly well when I needed to (bingoing early with things like CARTLOAD, ARTERIAL, etc) and it paid off. I've learned how to play better against my frequent opponents, and now I need to work on getting it to where it works against a typical Division A nationals field. Off to Atlanta for the next leg of this tournament stretch, which will likely be as hard as, if not harder than Oklahoma.
