#note like this cause with an A draw I can get 6I QADI for 38

#note didn't consider INV(O)KE! sets up QI when I draw it! It's not worth it cause it lets him score so much more now and there's only 5 Is to draw, but definitely worth considering.

DEVeIN is also fine... kinda like getting QAT or QADI draws here in case I draw them

#note happy to see the come down cause I wanted to be blocking SHOE, although this is a partial block which is almost more annoying!
>jackson: AAAIILR 4H R.ALIA +14 205
#note ughh didn't see ACAI in this spot! I saw ACARI and REALIA/AERIAL and RAIA 13g - i liked playing acari or realia because it blocks the spot up there which is a bigger threat than the 13 row. I liked acari because it held a consonant and blocked the 6 row completely, but I felt it gave back way more in terms of parallels than REALIA. REALIA however sheds my consonants and doesn't block the 6 row, and it will be really annoying to block the 6 row after this. I now regret my decision, because there are a couple scoring spots on the board so opening ACARI really isn't so devastating.

ACARI actually sims ahead of ACAI - ACAI gives back more, which I'm surprised about. I guess acai just makes 4 row plays way easier from 4H, whereas ACARI makes those harder because you have to do ?E?vowel? instead of ?E???. it's cool that there are 3 of each vowel in the pool! too bad there aren't 1.5 Ys. REALIA is only a touch behind ACARI in the sim but I really prefer acari or acai now, I would much rather eliminate the GG scenarios (which are basically just the 6 row) longterm, since I will want to deal with it pronto

#note Q likes awa a bit better but I'm surprised... still slightly consonant heavy in the pool, and the G is a real clunker. it's hard to argue with avg. score

#note I have ISSUE, SUE, and SAU making ZAGS that are worth considering. I didn't see SUA(V)E to block the 6 row but that is too big a sacrifice, that lets him outscore me too easily without a bingo. I like holding my S to block the 6 row soon, and also the U in my leave didn't bother me as much with B column plays available. Some of those are annoying cause they open stuff, but I can get CAIQUE sometimes or other good stuff. EASES still wins the sim

#note I considered playing HOER/ROO to pretend like I was blocking SHOER, but he may still know shoer or still play it. I figured he missed RISQUE, but I was worried he might have seen it or might find it now, and then a lot of my non-roque plays can get outrun and I'm in a bad position. ROQUE does let him to stuff like what he did, opening another nice lane, but it makes it a lot harder for him to outrun me. it's doubtful he will block the A column, but if he does out of fear or whatever, I'm fine with that. If he opens another lane there is a possibility that I can outscore him on column A and outrun bingoes. would appreciate thoughts on this position
>cookie: ?DILRSU 2J DRU.S +24 273
#note I really like SLU(R) here - makes a really good lane on row 1 and leaves the nice A column, and he still wins a lot of the time when he bingoes. DRUBS is nice to keep him within 1 bingo range more often, I can hit column a for a lot of points and outrun bingoes if he doesn't score enough
>jackson: AILOSSU 11F SOU +17 310
#note idk! I was getting low on time and this position was very tough. I'm still not totally out of the water with outrunning - he can have big plays on column A and outrun. I also felt that if he bingoed now I needed to play something like SOU to try and bingo back or occasionally catch him with drek and outrun.

I also thought about AL a11 to block what I felt was the more dangerous line - doesn't look worth it cause I am in danger of being outrun, I never outrun bingoes, and I'm only lowering his bingo% slightly immediately. AL is nice because it doesn't allow him to keep fishing, he'll have to open more lines cause otherwise I can keep closing. If the score differential were greater I could see doing something longterm like that, especially cause his re-opening options aren't very good.

The pool isn't very bingo heavy though, he's only around 20% with IL? speecified - I think SOU is fine to preserve my outrunning chances a bit better.

#note given a random range he's extremely likely to win - better to play on the A column to prevent plays like SPLAY, but he's still very likely to win. Even with my nicer tiles after SOU he's still very likely to win
