#player2 jackson jackson
>pistolese: DEZ 8G ZED +26 26
>jackson: AAEEOPR 9F PAREO +27 27
#note PEA/ZEDA wins a sim but I find it surprising that I score so much with PEA, more than after pareo or parae.

I didn't consider PARAE in the same spot, which looks like a minor improvement. the defensive improvement of offering an E to underlap and no S hook seems to counteract the small difference in leave. Q thinks pea just raises my average by more without really affecting his.
>pistolese: EORRSSU K3 ROUSERS +72 98
#note parae would have worked out a lot better
>jackson: AEEEILR F9 .EE +7 34
#note a lot of the other plays are kinda ross, they barely score better and bingo way less. This wins a sim, and over the board I felt there was a chance he could miss the A hook on AROUSERS, making this better ( a big problem with PEE is that I get outrun with huge scores a lot)
>pistolese: EFIK L1 KIEF +44 142
>jackson: AAEGILR 12C LAIRAGE +76 110
#note played LAIRAGE cause I'll be down after this, and it opens the left side
>pistolese: EJLO C9 JEL.O +40 182
>jackson: DEILNTY 8K .INDY +30 140
#note I'm not sure, seems close between YID and RINDY - YID bingoes about 45% to RINDY's 34%. there's still some value in scoring, especially because I don't mind opening the door to outscoring one day, he was in time trouble. I'm fine with either of these plays. Longterm RINDY is nice to open the board more, although he can definitely exhaust it if he plays his cards right. I might do YID if I think he is gonna be very defensive and exhaustive
>pistolese: NOW 1L .NOW +33 215
>jackson: EGHLNTY 13I LENGTHY +83 223
#note lmao
>pistolese: AHRT O11 RH.TA +45 260
>jackson: CCIMOTV 6F COMIC. +24 247
#note he'd taken a long time on some of his recent moves, so I thought it was more likely than average he had a blank. He does take his time usually, but I still got that sense. I liked blocking the S to make bingoes less likely, since it's basically over if he bingoes. He was starting to get in time trouble, so I don't mind closing the board here with a bit of a deficit, I'm confident that can be overcome later
>pistolese: AEEFITU 14N E. +14 274
>jackson: ABDIOTV 14F VOID +20 267
#note I have a nice BOVID play that I would normally make, but he is getting into time trouble so again I opt for the safer and more defensive play, believing I can make up the deficit later
>pistolese: DI 15G ID +20 294
>jackson: AABBINT 11E B.TA +25 292
#note saw BANTA(M) but can't play that after his fishes. still doing fine
>pistolese: AEU L12 A.UE +12 306
>jackson: ABILNRT 10B B.L +11 303
#note thought about BORT but he has an A too often after AGUE or just a big play with the blank or just a big play with the S on the 14 row, so basically bort sucks

I could do ORB, but keeping AINRT is nicer as a flexible leave, especially if he tries to open the board. I also like blocking scoring plays there like FA. it felt really weird to play this but it looks okay.

I didn't see (O)BTAIN though, which i think is better. The X is a big threat, even though he only has 4 shots to get it. He's also keeping the case E a lot of the time, so the EX bomb is really only available for him - I really want to play tiles to draw a blank or X. OBTAIN is probably the way to go.
>pistolese: OP 2N PO +21 327
>jackson: AIMNRTX J9 .X +25 328
#note luckily I draw the X anyways. I decided against MIREX because it opens a nice lane
>pistolese: ?EQSU 3G QUaE..S +50 377
>jackson: AIMNRTU 4C UNTRIM +40 368
#note he's about to go over now, so this puts me up 1 and not down 9. Leaving 2 in the bag is really nice
>pistolese: AFIOSTV 11J OF +20 397
>jackson: AAANSTW 2H SAW +33 401
#note given his time penalty he has no wins after saw. I have ANTA and (N)ATAN(T) to go out
>pistolese: ?GIINTV N5 aVI.IN +19 416
>jackson: AANT 5A ANTA +8 409
#note final score 415-406
>jackson: (GT) +6 415
