#note Burned a ton of time on this one. Saw 14I MANGLE; MACLE seemed so much more defensive. Perhaps after Jen's play of YEZ I should be more okay with MANGLE, since MACLE's defensive benefit is mostly to deny scoring spots such as OYEZ plays and FY/KY parallels; MACLE might actually make it easier for Jen to get a bingo down with a seven on row 3 or 5. YEZ indicates a low-point, bingo-prone leave. Also considered plays from 4A like VELA, GLAM, and VEGA; did not consider the very intriguing option of D3 VLY, which sacrifices a ton of points for even more excellent defense than MACLE and a solid bingo% for me next turn (almost all my 7s will go down with NONA/NONE/NONG).
