#player1 Will Will
#player2 Jesse Jesse
>Will: AEGILLS 8D GALLISE +70 70
#note Coin flip with GALLIES, didn't want to waste time.
>Jesse: AABDITU K5 BAUD +24 24
#note JD: should play DAUB here to open up the board since I'm already trailing.
>Will: ACFGNOP J4 FOP +28 98
#note Missed GANOF, a word I seem to somehow miss far more than I should; CAF scores 5 more and bingos a very similar amount to FOP (27% to 30%), so it's a touch better also.
>Jesse: AHILPTW H2 WHIPTA.L +67 91
>Jesse: AEINOQU (challenge) +5 96
#note JD: like last turn, the H6 placement allows me to bingo more next turn (I'm still going to be trailing after this bingo)
>Will: ACDGNOT L4 DOC +24 122
#note DOC looks good here because PACA and PACT help me get my bingos down when I hit. Other ideas - L4 DONG, L2 CAGOT or OCTAD.
>Jesse: AEINOQU 5E QUO. +30 126
#note JD: debated between QUAI at 9C and this. Ultimately AEIN seemed more bingo-prone than ENO. Q agrees (31% v 22%). also note that I'd be bingoing if I pick the other WHIPTAIL placement.
>Will: AFGINRT D8 .RAFTING +80 202
>Jesse: AEEIILN C12 ILEA +19 145
#note not great. I saw EINA at E11, but that closes the board majorly, which I don't want to do while I'm trailing. However, I can play ILEA for 3 more at M4 and still open a lane. Alternatively, I can also just play FIE at 11D, which is the most aggressive of my choices. In hindsight I would play FIE here.
>Will: AEIKMRV 3C MIKVA. +38 240
>Jesse: ABDEIIN 4A ABID +26 171
#note in a level game, BINIT/QI would be the play, but this looks right down 95.
>Will: EEENORS 11D .ORESEEN +94 334
>Jesse: EINRSTU 10I TRIUNES +69 240
#note setting up a third triple-triple - need the volatility
>Will: EEJMNTX O6 NEXT. +36 370
#note Sacrificing a lot of equity to cover the S over the A; maybe the board is open enough that it's not worth doing that?
>Jesse: CDENOTV M8 CO.VENT +26 266
#note JD: pouring even more volatility onto the board. Reaching for a blank and setting up S hook. only downside is that I might run out of tiles to complete my comeback.
>Will: ?EGJMOU A1 JUG. +36 406
>Jesse: ADEERSY B4 .EEYARDS +70 336
#note JD: I twisted Will's arm into post-morteming this play extensively. The truth is that I'm down too far for it to really matter whether I pick BEEYARDS or YEARENDS. Maybe it's a different story if I pull ARAYSED for 108 or something.
>Will: ?EHIMOO A6 MOHO +53 459
#note I missed HOMEOTIC here but this move is better equity and also prevents random gigantic Z bomb bingos.
>Jesse: ?ERRTYZ 14J ZEs.Y +72 408
#note JD: chickened out of AZERTY over the board, at a cost of 23 points of equity (because I can't get out next turn holding RRT)
>Will: ?EIINOW H11 .WINE +36 495
#note Correct
>Jesse: ARRT 15J ART +19 427
>Will: ?IO 6D OIs +14 509
#note Uh, I1 IOs for 11 more...oops
>Will: (R) +2 511
