>Bryn: AELORTT 8C RETOTAL +66 66
#note Zev had won 11 club games in a row. As always, the tile gods will mercilessly end his streak with a ridiculous bagging instead of a 3-point loss
>Zev: INQU F6 QU.IN +36 36
>Bryn: AADEJLR E10 AJAR +24 90
>Zev: OUVW C7 V.OUW +16 52

#note Def safest
>Zev: IILV H11 VI.LI +27 79
>Bryn: ABGHMOU 12K BOUGH +40 197
#note Maybe no need to open a 3x3 (as it turns out he almost hits me), but you still gotta play this don't you? I'm at 95% to win after BOUGH, but HA(L)M 14F looks fine too, even though it sacrifices like 26 points to BOUGH in terms of simulated valuation. HALM has downsides too (he bingo bangos me and I have an awful rack), and it's important to ask "If he doesn't 3x3, what are my prospects?" (extremely promising). I think BOUGH is a bit better than HALM, but HALM is defensible if you feel better-equipped to deal with the worst case scenario after HALM than the worst case scenario after BOUGH.
>Zev: ?EENORS J2 ENcORES +68 147
#note This is cool because the C prevents parallels and makes thing much more volatile, which Zev needs at this point
>Bryn: AEIIMNS B10 MAINS +41 238
#note Spent a lot of time debating IMAGINE N9 vs MAINS B10 on this move. Ultimately, I decided on MAINS because I keep the E for EMU and half of them are already gone. Sure he often gets to use the A column, but then I get to use the O column. MAINS is a bit risky because he could draw ridiculously and 3x3 on me. MAINS is 9 more points though, and the S sucks on this board (well sorta sucks, it's still an S). IMAGINE wins a sim by about 6 points, so this is a mistake.
>Zev: DH 12D H.D +17 164
>Bryn: AEIINOT 11H .INO +24 262
#note Considered this and ET(H)ION H10. Given the fishiness of HAD, I probably should play ETHION. I was starting to feel a big equity-whorey at this point, and given that it was only club thought it might be cool to try to score 600.

>Zev: GIN O8 .....ING +48 262
>Bryn: ?EFLOOO M1 FOO.sOLE +72 497
>Bryn: ?EFLOOO -- -72 425
#note I'd been pretty business-like up to this point in the evening, so now it's time for some foolishness. I'd been pretty lazy on Zyzzyva lately, and with Kingston coming up I wanted to try to learn a new word or two (given that these plays are getting snap challenged).
