>Tim: DEINOST 8D DITONES +70 70
>Will: AAHOSTV 9G HOA +25 25
#note I'm maybe sensing a theme that I'm keeping Vs too often; Q prefers a copule other moves, including F6 OTTAVA and just F8 TAVA preserving the TAVAH hook. HOA is in the mix a smidge behind; I liked the new S hook, but the reparallels can be pretty damaging.
>Tim: INO 10F ION +14 84
>Will: AFIRSTV 11H IFTAR +20 45
#note Equity hit here to create two new S hooks that should stay open long term, but again, V in the leave is not good. Quackle calling for 7C VITAS or VAT; I might be able to get behind D8 DAVIT a bit more.
>Tim: BINOY L10 B.IONY +30 114
>Will: ?OORSUV J1 SaVOROU. +62 107
#note Damaging miss of E2 VOUSSOIR - 8 more points and way better defensively.
>Tim: IQ 1H QI. +36 150
#note I suppose QIN still comes down here after VOUSSOIR but many worse things could've happened.
>Will: EEEGTUU H1 .UEUE +15 122
>Tim: FNO G3 FON +23 173
>Will: AEGILMT 14G TEGMI.AL +84 206
>Tim: ?DEEIRR 15B fERRIED +85 258
>Will: ABEMNPU 7E PUB +28 234
>Tim: HOX 9C HOX +32 290
>Will: AEIJMNZ 13K M.ZE +58 292
#note Waffled for a good long while on MOZ vs MOZE and even just playing 10B JAM instead; obviously, Tim will have a D or an S a lot of the time, but when he doesn't, MOZE is incredibly annoying and could induce a weak block, at which point my J would overtake him. They sim extremely closely together, which might give MOZ the edge because Tim is probably likelier to have kept an S than sim is giving him credit for, even though we can't tell much of anything from HOX and he bingoed the turn before that, so we only have HOX to work with for inference. CP emphatically prefers MOZE.
>Tim: ACEIRS O8 CARIES +43 333
>Will: AADIJLN 10B JA +30 322
#note The pool is insanely consonant heavy; hoping after JA that if I can just snag one vowel and the right consonant, I can bingo down low hooking ATE. The column M line hooking the B is really unlikely to hit, unfortunately. Options I didn't consider that have great attributes - 10B JIN, setting up my D and holding two vowels (wish they weren't both As but still good); just DJIN now, holding AAL with so many consonants to come, expecting Tim to play down to the D and give me another crack at row 13 or potentially give me a new line on column B; and C9 HADJ, setting up the gigantic and extremely difficult to block HADJI play with my case I. Options I did consider - HADJI, but didn't want to block the row 13 line; 5E JANE, to preserve better plays underlapping HOX that threatened setups, but it scored so much less. Sim likes JIN best; it can be underlapped pretty easily, but only if Tim has vowels, which he may not, and I still get a crack at row 13 with a nice leave for it. It's pretty annoying to miss so many of the good options here.
>Tim: AEEPY 11A PAYEE +38 371
>Will: AADILNT 15N DA +13 335
#note Almost did DIOTA but hated leaving just the one vowel; it still looks better than my move, if only to make a new line, crummy as it may be. It's possible that just fishing the D with QUEUED is worth a try, fishing for ACTINAL/LANITAL or maybe ANTLIAE down column M. Unfortunately I was feeling some pinch from time pressure here.
>Tim: EKN 7I K.NE +25 396
>Will: AGILNTV 10B ..G +17 352
#note Now I have an E to try and hit, but figuring that was sure to be blocked, I decided to focus on the lane down low; but I simply could not find any fishes that actually hit anything. Burned the entire rest of my time trying to find something good and eventually gave up; I knew JAG hits nothing but had no better ideas.
>Tim: DGL L5 GL.D +8 404
>Will: AAILNTV M4 TI +5 357
#note Overtime now - wanting to fish my V for LATINAS/LANITAL but there's nowhere to do it, so I crazily played TI to draw EL for AVELLAN down low.
>Tim: ELRSTTW 12D STEW +30 434
>Will: AACLNVW K5 AW. +28 385
#note I went 4 mins overtime in this game.
